The building was designed from sand-lime bricks KM Beta. The thermal insulation is made from external thermal insulation composite systems ETICS, floor structure is from ceramic-concrete precast floor slabs. The major part of the flat roof structure is double-layered while the rest is a green single-layer construction.
Air condition of cultural center
Bělehrádek, Lukáš ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design an air condition of cultural center. The theoretical part describes processes of heat recovery in general, followed by description of various heat recovery ventilation systems in airconditioning. Design of an air condition for a multipurpose hall with an entrance hall and a pub is dealt with in the practical part of the thesis. The design consists of two air-conditioning units for cooling, and for warm air heating. The last part of the thesis consists of design documents for the air condition of cultural center.
The systems of building services in immovable heritage
Maurerová, Lenka ; Vlček, Milan (referee) ; Kabele,, Karel (referee) ; Doc.Ing. Martina Peřinková, Ph.D (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The present PhD. thesis deals with the systems of building services (namely heating, ventilating and air conditioning, shading) which provide required indoor microclimate inside the immovable heritage. The work thus combines the exclusively technical field of building services (BS) and the general principles of heritage conservation. The aim of my PhD. thesis is the analysis of immovable heritage conservation processes, focusing on the current state of research and BS systems documentation. Furthermore the work concerns the possibilities of temporary measurements of indoor climate parameters inside the immovable heritage, and aims to develop a computer model (in BSim software) for the simulation of various working conditions in the selected buildings. For the stated aims were selected three representative historic houses: historical assembly hall at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Brno University of Technology; the Palm Greenhouse at Lednice Chateau in Moravia; and Villa Tugendhat in Brno. These buildings had been surveyed for several years, and in this PhD. thesis I present their analysis, evaluation, and conclusions. The aims of this PhD. thesis broadly correspond to the transnational objectives. The present research is, for example, in accordance with the international document ICOMOS Charter (Zimbabwe, 2013) which is concerned with the analysis, conservation, and restoration of architectural heritage. The research of immovable heritage is also supported by European Union, e.g. by the Seventh Framework Programme of EU.
Hotel
Lotter, Martin ; Blažková, Vendula (referee) ; Daněk, Lukáš (advisor)
The purpose of this master’s thesis was to design and elaborate design documentation for the realization of the building of the hotel in the village of Dolní Lomná. The hotel is located on a sloping plot No. 1322/43, in the cadastre unit Dolní Lomná. The design and its implementation respect the local zoning plan. The building is five-storey, with a basement. It has four above-ground floors, the hotel lobby with a reception, service and sports equipment rental, a restaurant with a terrace and hotel rooms and one basement where underground garages are for the guests. The structure is designed as a frame with a load-bearing building envelope. The building is roofed with a warm flat roof, designed as a green extension.
Building for library purposes
Pastorková, Gabriela ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the Master’s thesis is to design near-zero energy library building in Kroměříž. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first part includes the architectural and structural design of the library. The building has two storeys. The first floor contains a lecture hall, a library, and technical facilities. The second floor contains another section of the library with a study space and facilities for employees, both floors are equipped with sanitary facilities. An accessible sanitary facility is located on the first floor. The building is founded on foundation strips supporting the load-bearing wall system made of ceramic blocks and a pre-stressed concrete roof and floor structure. The roof is designed as an extensive green roof, the roof over the entrance area is a warm flat roof. In the second part, I focus on designing selected building services. Key components include air-water heat pumps for heating and cooling, mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, LED-based lighting technology, and photovoltaic panels. The heating is provided by a hot water underfloor system, and rainwater management concept is designed as well. The building is assessed in terms of daylighting, acoustics, and thermal technology, including an Energy Performance Certificate. The third part of the thesis focuses on using thermography to identify potential thermal bridges. This section also encompasses the preparation of cost estimates for various insulation options, aiming to determine the optimal insulation solution for libraries that have been surveyed using a thermal camera. The analysis is focused on identifying a more cost-effective solution that provides optimal thermal insulation and minimizes construction costs. The thesis is created using ArchiCAD, BuildingDesign, Microsoft Office and Lumion software, along with the web portal DEKSOFT.
New building of sports and relax centre
Böhmová, Sabina ; Nováková, Eva (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
The main topic of this diploma thesis was to design project documentation of sporty and relaxation house in the city of Vracov The designed object is located in western part of the town Vracov. The surrouding terrain is flat. I tis designed as three interconnected parts with rectangular shape and flat roof with a slope of 3 %. The subject of this thesis is to design project documentation recreation and relaxation center with guest house in Vracov. Material of the building is a ceramic brick system in a combination with reinforced concrete. Outer walls are made of heat-insulating ceramic brics Heluz Family 2v1 with polystyrene foam inside their cavities. The entrance is situated in the middle part, where reception is located that is directing the clients further into the latter parts of the building. The middle and western parts have two storeys and are made for the sporting activities. The eastern part is a two storey building, where the first floor is designed as a part for relaxation. Second and third floor are designed as a hotel part. Apart form a project documentation, there is an architectonical study of the building and an airconditiong design specialization.
Dog Shelter with Veterinary Facilities
Hulenková, Barbora ; Oravec, Pavel (referee) ; Fišarová, Zuzana (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of this closed area of the shelter dogs with veterinary facilities and administration shelter in a specific location in the outskirts of Bystřice pod Hostýnem, street Meziříčská. It is a building amenities. In addition to the project itself is part of the job specialization - health and technical installations and connections. The work was developed in response to a bachelor thesis. The intention is to create a functional device with everyday hour, which will be provided by 7 employees. Given that the region is not represented such a device, its implementation will meet the requirements and demands of citizens of the town but also surrounding communities. The capacity of the shelter is designed based on the client's requirements with the possibility of placing domestic animals in max. Of 50 dogs, 50 cats and 16 small animals. Unless capacity is full, the device can be used as an animal hotel. In its own proposal, the emphasis was on the overall architectural character and design solutions. Structures in the area are designed from the structural system KM BETA with a contact system. The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of this closed area of the shelter dogs with veterinary facilities and administration shelter in a specific location in the outskirts of Bystřice pod Hostýnem, street Meziříčská.
