Author: Martin Simacek Title: Analysis of Puck Control Level in Ice Hockey in Categories U9 and Younger. Objective: The aim of the thesis is to assess the level of puck control among players in the U9 age group and younger. Additionally, the study aims to determine whether the player's skills correspond to the abilities expected for this category. Methods: The study was based on a testing battery designed for assessing and comparing the level of puck control among players in the U9 category and younger, encompassing of 9 teams from across the Czech Republic. The research relied on the analysis of results from 233 young hockey players who underwent a series of tests focusing on progressively increasing the difficulty of puck-handling techniques. Each tested player was evaluated individually and under the same conditions, with performance assessed by a licensed expert holding an A coaching license. The data were analyzed using statistical tools to define the level of achieved skills and compare them to international and Czech standards. Results: The research involving 233 young hockey players in the U9 and u8 category revealed an average success rate of 1,6 out of 7 puck control tests, indicating solid fundamental skills within this age group. Title: Analysis of the Level of Puck Control in Ice Hockey in the U14 and U15 Category Objectives: The main objective of this thesis was to analyse the level of puck control of ice hockey players in the U14 and U15 categories. The steps to achieve this objective consisted of conducting field testing in selected ice hockey clubs, implementing a detailed analysis of the data obtained through this testing, identifying differences between the categories and determining standards in the area of puck control. Methods: The methods of analysis, comparison and synthesis were used in the bachelor thesis. The method of observation and field testing was used in the implementation of the testing of the puck control levels. The method of analysis, comparison and synthesis was applied in the analysis and interpretation of data obtained through field testing. Results: A total of 257 U14 and U15 players from 10 different clubs took part in the testing of the puck control level, one of which was a foreign club (Norway). The average level of puck control of the U15 category was significantly higher (x =7.8) than that of the U14 category (x =5.6). Analysis of the level of stickhandling skills in ice hockey in the U10 - U11 category The main goal of this thesis is to analyse the level of stickhandling skills among youth ice hockey players in the U10 and U11 categories. Reaching this goal consists of two main steps - first is the implementation of a research standardised test battery focused on puck control in selected Czech ice hockey clubs, which is followed by a comparative analysis and interpretation of the data obtained from this testing. For this bachelor's thesis, we employed the methods of observation, analysis and comparison. The observation method was used for the implementation of the standardised testing of the level of stickhandling skills for the U10 and U11 categories. An analytical and comparative methodical approach was then used for the evaluation and interpretation of the data obtained from the on-ice testing. A total of 246 players from U10 and U11 categories from 8 different Czech ice hockey clubs took part in the testing of the level of stickhandling skills. The average stickhandling level of players in the U11 category is noticeably higher (reaching a value of 4.3) than that of players from the U10 category (value of 2.9). Players from clubs that hold the status of the Academy of Czech Hockey performed significantly...

Title: Analysis and possibilities of training a selected game acttivity of an individual in relation to 1-1 situations from the point of view of the attacking phase of the game in ice hockey Objectives: The first objective of the thesis was to define the nodal points of the execution of a given movement of selected offensive individual hockey skills, namely partial movement tasks in the context of solving 1-1 situations from the perspective of the offensive phase of the game in ice hockey. This objective was addressed predominantly on the basis of the technical component. The second objective was to create skill acquisition program of training 1-1 situations from the perspective of the offensive phase of the game for individual categories in ice hockey. Methods: The indirect observation method through videos was used for data collection. A binary system with yes / no response options was used to evaluate the results. Results: The thesis was carried out in two research phases. In the first phase we investigated, observed and analysed the successful resolution of 1-1 game situations from the perspective of the offensive phase of the game. We did this by means of video analysis of recordings of exceptional players during this game activity. We determined, through video analysis, the nodal points of...
