Development of cultural landscape in the western part of the České středohoří Mts.

The main aim of this thesis is assessment of land use changes from half of the 19th century to present in the western part of the České středohoří Mts. Changes in land use categories proportion, development of ecological stability of landscape, development of land use diversity and influence of physical-geographic conditions on land use changes were assessed. The second aim is assessment of abandoned land occurrence in the area. All abandoned lands were mapped and then relationship between abandoned lands occurrence and physical-geographic conditions was assessed. Changes of landscape structure and scattered greenery in the Jistebnicko region

The landscape has been profoundly affected by human activity for centuries and the consequences of this interference have been growing in scale with the rising demands of modern society. The processes leading to the landscape's homogeneity, or, on the other hand, its fragmentation, have been focus of many studies which then allow us to understand how the landscape functions in its entirety and are also significant for the process of spatial planning on the local level. The aim of this theses is to assess the changes done to land cover an landscape's (micro)structure with special focus on scattered greenery (non-forest woody vegetation), as well as to examine how these changes have been mapped into the cadastral municipality of Cunkov, located in the Jistebnická vrchovina highlands, throughout the last 180 years. It is then possible to analyze these changes using the GIS and historical materials from three time periods which were beforehand selected - the years 1840, 1953 and 2019. Microstructure of the landscape plays an essential role in landscape's dynamics and for its ecologic stability.

Vývoj krajiny Dolních Kounic

The bachelor thesis is focused on monitoring of the evolution of landscape in the cadastral area Dolní Kounice. In my thesis, I deal with a detailed analysis of the historical evolution of landscape in the study area up. I describe natural conditions, history and the current state of the landscape. Based on available information sources I evaluate changes in functions of landscapes and appearance of the landscape. Further I propose possible provisions of studied landscape in accordance with the genius loci of researched area.

Vývoj krajiny v Chlumu u Třeboně a její genius loci

This diploma thesis deals with the landscape development, determination of landscape values and description of genius loci in the area of Chlum u Třeboně. The development was monitored within the terms of both microstructure and macrostructure. The landscape macrostructure was evaluated from the statistical data for the use of areas from the first half of the 19th century to the present.The microstructure and its changes since the second half of the 20th was examined by the comparative method using map data supplemented by memories of the local inhabitants and chronicle records.The landscape values determined by field research were indicated into the maps alongside the photographic documentation of selected values.

The development of agricultural land in the cadastral municipality Chodouň

The thesis is focused on the historical development of the agricultural landscape in the cadastral municipality Chodouň that is related to the analysis of macrostructure and microstructure of the landscape. An important output of the script and further development of the area in the future. This work compares and analyzes the changes of agricultural land for a period of about 200 years. A targeted analysis of landscape changes were used cadastral maps, orthophoto maps from the 50s of the 20th century, contemporary orthophoto maps indigenous ownership and maps made landscaping. Map data were processed and assembled in the program ArcGIS ArcMap-10.03 The results show major structural changes in the agricultural landscape. The work points to a significant increase in soil units, canceling field trips and yield a significant increase in development. The results can be used in the future to the proper management of the landscape.

Landscape assessment of a selected river landscape

Diploma thesis deals with landscape evaluation of river Vltava on its lower stream in area between Roztoky and Mělník.
The theoretical part is focused on definitions of terms associated with watercourse and landscape of river floodplain. This part is describing function of river floodplain, human effect on landscape, shows the issues which are presented in landscape and describe ways of using landscape. Further it is deals with understanding of landscape, pattern of river landscape in art,characterizes the ideal state and negatively affected state of flux and provides approaches to the formation of river alluvium.
In the practical part are defined the boundaries of area and done a detail analysis of natural conditions, the historical development and exploitation of river flow at first.
The part of project was a creation of method useful for evaluations landscape. Based on in situ examination, area was divided into separate categories according visual quality of environment (landscape). The framework recommendations were created for each area categories and it should lead to conservation and protection the values of the landscape or improve its state. The detailed analysis of landscape evolution in terms of size and shape of areas and land cover was performed with use of historical maps. Thereafter the most affected area by human activity with the worst evaluation was chosen. For this chosen area were developed other analyzes as a base for suggestion of the solution.
Due to intensive use of river landscape the concept solution is focused on improve permeability, the habitability and landscape restoration of landscape structures.
