Two-axis tractor trailer chassis

The dokument was created with ZDT company cooperation and consists of two main parts. The first and also main part is handling construction and strength check issues of two-axis traktor trailer chassis Grand super. The second part contains design and strength check of rear protective device against small vehicle under passing. Strength check is performed in I-DEAS enviroment. The fixings are chassis frame assembly drawing, chassis frame welding assembly drawing and drawbar assembly drawing.

Graduation work discusses a design of the tube body of the tractor semi-trailer enabling double-sided tilting. The aim was a conceptual proposal of the semi-trailer body and a strength calculation with Finite Element Method on my own. A part of the work is also design documentation. The work puts major requirement on the simplest mechanical design. The body is a part of the replaceable system of the trailer body by ZDT Company and it is designed for a universal carriage unit MEGA 20.

This thesis provides an overview of the tridem tractor-trailers, which today can be seen in the agriculture. The thesis is mostly focused on describing the main design components of which a modern trailer is composed. Another part includes the analysis of several domestic and foreign producers of agricultural vehicles. The conclusion of the thesis is devoted to determining the technical parameters of given products along with performing a critical analysis of main and relative parameters. The most important data are summarized in the tabular layout.
