Heat exchanger design for heat pump

This thesis deals with the design of a heat exchanger for a heat pump, specifically a condenser. In the introductory part, a brief research of heat pumps, refrigerants and their classification is made with a focus on the types of heat exchangers used. In the next part, the design of a shell and tube and plate condenser for a ground-to-water heat pump is made and then the two options for the heat exchanger are compared and an assessment is made as to which of the options is more suitable.
Optimizing installation of cogeneration units in family house

The work deals with usage of heat energy from cogeneration unit in a family house. It is focused especially on the use for family house's heating and warming of service water. Optimalization is made on existing cogeneration units. In this work we will handle with two types of cogeneration units of different capacities. From the beginning we concern in current situation and the possibilities of regulation. Further we deal with the possible ways of optimalization of winter and summer running and with the costs for these optimalizations.
Effective utilization of waste heat by intensification of thermal equipment

The main aim of this Bachelors thesis is waste heat and its usage. In theoretical part, there are described sources of waste heat, possible way of its usage and there are described an equipment, which can reduce waste heat, mainly heat exchangers. At the end of the theoretical part of the thesis, intensification elements for heat exchangers are described. The aim of practical section is to design a heat exchanger with plane tube, tube with fins and tube with ribbed fins and select the best variant for our industrial case. In this section the main relationships and practices for heat exchanger design are described. At the end of this thesis the most suitable option for our case is selected.
The Primary Air Power Heat Substitution on Biofluid 100

Initial section of this paper discusses the basic classification of exchangers and general principles and laws of heat exchange. Second section outlines the individual types of heat exchangers, used predominantly in the power industry. The final section of the paper offers a design proposal for heat exchangers for primary air heating by waste gas energy, generated by stand Biofluid 100.
Analysis of heat losses of operated heat exchangers

The proposed bachelor’s thesis deals with calculation and analysis of heat losses of operated heat exchangers used for food applications. In the first part of the thesis, general problematics of heat exchangers is introduced, including their use and breakdown by basic categories, as well as problematics of insulation, which is supplemented by a list of the most commonly used types of insulation. Another chapter is devoted both to the assignment and description of the industrial case; drawing documentation and measured input data necessary for the calculation of heat losses are also presented. The last part of the thesis introduces the used method of assessment of heat losses of the heat exchanger network, achieved results and their discussion.

This diploma thesis deals with plumbing systems of baking plants v Modřicích. The first part looks for a solution exchange of heat and using waste energy from bakery owens. There are performed several possiblities of projects for plumbing systems. Project part was worked out in cooperation with technical company wich produces equipment for bakery factories. The solution according to relevant standards
