An analysis of character traits and athletic performance of the Chodský Dog breed and its possible uses in zootherapy
Pávková, Kateřina ; Fiala Šebková, Naděžda (advisor) ; Chmelíková, Eva (referee)
This Bachelor thesis is a secondary research focused on a Czech national breed, the Chodský Dog breed. The first section outlines the history of the breed and its restoration, which officially began in 1984 by Jan Findejs. Its breeders are joined in the Association of Friends of the Chodský Dog breed, one of the largest breeders associations. On the 31st March 2016 there were 152 registered breeding kennels in Europe. The breed is also very popular abroad where a few official broods have already been reared. It has the strongest presence in Germany and Switzerland. The Association of Friends of the Chodský Dog breed is a member of the Bohemian-Moravian Cynology Union. The organisation still awaits the breed acknowledgement by World Canine Organization (FCI). The subsequent part of the paper concentrates on genetics of the population and includes an assessment of outcomes associated with hip joint dysplasia and its incidence in the population since 2001. In addition to dysplasia, which is being monitored and eliminated by the association, the breed is not significantly affected by other diseases. The health programme and other health checks promoted by the association are also discussed. The last section describes dog character trait tests and character traits specific to the Chodský Dog breed. An analysis of traits was carried out based on data collected from the associations database. The offspring of the five most fertile dogs were also assessed. Furthermore, the thesis discusses the results of the breeds athletic performance and its use in zootherapy. It highlights the breeds wide range of potential uses and its acclaimed character traits. Chodský Dog breed have become popular in recent years. The breed registry logs around 300 puppies, every year, suggesting the breed is doing well!
Assisted Code Vectorization and Parallelization Using the OpenMP 4.0 Standard
Slouka, Lukáš ; Nikl, Vojtěch (referee) ; Jaroš, Jiří (advisor)
The subject of the bachelor's thesis is code optimization using the OpenMP 4.0 standard which provides tools for assisted parallelization and vectorization. In addition to the descrip tion of the OpenMP 4.0 standard, the thesis as well contains an insight into architectures of modern computers, specifically the system of cache memories and SSE/AVX modules that play a major role in the optimization field. The thesis demonstrates advantages of optimized code compared to unoptimized version on a set of benchmarks which are aimed at various aspects of optimization.

Comparing automotive and tractor agricultuar transport system with swap bodies in agriculture business
HRACH, Milan
This thesis deals with the collation of the automotive and wheel tractor transport system with interchangeable superstructures and their use in the business of primary agricultural production in terms of technical parameters, analysis of the use of individual bodies, analysis of investment and operating costs and by comparing the two systems on the basis of the identified parameters. Comparasion was the truck Tatra Phoenix 158 with the superstructures for the transport of powdery and bulky materials, spreaders, manure spreaders and superstructure designed for the transport of heavy materials with tractors transport system John Deere 8320 and tandem semi-trailer Fliegl with manure and conveyor superstructure ASW 268 in the Agricultural cooperative Cizova. In the performance collation of both systems when transporting silage and achieve the highest mass performance at the tractors transport system and it 14,39 t.h-1 which is aganist automotive system less about 5.94 t.h-1. On the other hand fuel consumption to distance traveled, weight and the cycle was recorded the lowest consumption of the lorry Tatra. The economic collation showed that the truck Tatra Phoenix 158 has a lower cost on the distance travelled, the transported amount of cargo and per tonne-kilometre compared to tractors transport system. The cost of the distance travelled makes 90,24 CZK.km-1 which is beside tractor system lower of 100 CZK.km-1. The value of the cost of the transported amount of cargo by lorry moves on 92,10 CZK.t-1 but tractor system has this value lower of 24.83 CZK.t-1.The lowest difference between the costs experienced in the evaluation of the cost per tonne-kilometre where the truck Tatra reached the cost of 9.42 CZK.tkm1 which is compared with tractors transport system, the lower of 3.28 CZK.tkm-1.
Analysis of the performance in the men's javelin throw from 1945 to the present in the Czech Republic
