The utilization of COPM in patients following an acute cerebrovascular attack

This paper deals with the utilization of Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) in clients following an acute cerebrovascular attack (stroke). The theoretical part examines the rules and circumstances of the rehabilitation of clients following the stroke and specific approaches that inspired COPM. This part also describes Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (history, key ideas, structure, and psychometric skills). The practical part investigates the effects of utilizing COPM in patients after an acute cerebrovascular attack and compares the results to the effects of usual occupational therapy examination with data analysis. The conclusion of the study focuses on the satisfaction of clients with the measure and the effect of measure for subsequent intervention and cooperation with occupational therapist.
