Goal of this bachelors thesis is to evaluate financial health of enterprise OLMA, a.s., find its strengths and weaknesses and in conclusion position on the market towards competitors. Theoretical part is explaining individual terms of strategic and financial analysis for understanding given problematics. Practical part of this thesis will analyze, using specific tools and methods, individual pointers. By using these pointers I will find out, whether strategy, set by chosen company, is effective and if it is competitive enough against other companies of same industry.

Economics of Microbrewery

The main aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate economy of chosen Microbrewery XY, Ltd. in observed period 2012 till 2015. Economy of microbrewery is evaluated on the bases of methods of financial analysis and costs calculation per unit of production.
The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part deals with history of breweries, categorization of microbrewery and its characteristics. Also in this work is described process of beer production and ingredients necessary for its production. This part includes methods and formulas used for financial analysis and costing.
Practical part deals with characteristics of microbrewery production. Simple Linear Regression model verifies the seasonality in beer consumption. To accomplish the main aim are used methods of financial analysis and costing. Financial analysis consists horizontal and vertitical analysis, differential and ratio indicators, creditworthy and bankruptcy models evaluating whole financial situation of the microbrewery.
In chapter Evaluation of the results and Conclusion are summarized results, an overall evaluation of microbreweries economy and are proposed recommendations for improving its economy.

Financial analysis of selected enterprises

The thesis deals with the financial analysis of the company Breweries Lobkowicz Group a.s. in 2010 - 2014 period. It is divided into theoretical and practical part.
Theoretical part focuses on general problematics of the financial analysis. Fundamental terms as balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow account are explained in this part of the thesis. However it also analyzes each indicator used in the practical part. Firstly, horizontal and vertical analysis of the financial records are introduced, also differential and ratio indicators are explained, specifically current ratio, quick ratio, cash ratio, profitability of total property and ordinary capital, rentability of sales. Subsequently the thesis describes the rate of indebtedness of the company and indicators of the activity - turnover of the individual components of the assets side. The final subtopic is the overall indexes of rating, specifically as for solvency models Kralick´s Quicktest and as for bankruptcy ones Altman´s model and Index IN05.
The practical part introduces the company Breweries Lobkowicz Group a.s. and the individual methods and indicators mentioned in the theoretical part are applied. Using these indicators the financial analysis itself is carried out. To summarize, the company is long-term loss-making but year-on-year the loss is decreasing. The company registered big progress in 2014 when its own capital reached positive numbers. This change has a positive impact on the development of most of the indicators used in the financial analysis.

Economic analysis of selected company

The thesis deals with the economic analysis of company Frátherm, s. r. o., in the period 2010-2014. The work is divided into theoretical and practical parts, each of which is broken down into other chapters and subchapters. The theoretical part summarizes theoretical knowledge of economic analysis, their indicators and other analyzes internal and external environment of the company. These theoretical findings are used in the practical part, where are applied to our selected company. The company is also compared with the values of the sector in which it operates. The results of the practical part are summarized in the discussion. In conclusion, the proposed recommendations to improve the current state of the company, which is based on the analytical part. As a basis for the diploma were used particularly outrageous publications, financial statements of the company and the summary data for the entire industry.

Financial statement in designated company

Thesis focuses on financial statement in given organization. The work consist of two parts. There are described theoretical outcomes coming from accountancy law, paragraph no 500/2002 and Czech national accountant standards, in the first part. Focus is given to preparatory work and inventory. Integral part is description of account statement - statements of earns and loss, balance, review of financial flows and account statement attachments. The second part contains description of process of account statement and deadline in given organization. The account unit gave all data and paperwork for their bookkeeping and processed accountand statement. In the final part consists of complete overview and recommendations on specific improvements.

Financial analysis of chosen companies

The diploma thesis deals with elaboration of financial analysis of the business, specialised in production of electroinstalation material. For this reason following companies were chosen: Kopos Kolín Ltd and Spel Ltd. The aim of thesis is, with help of methods and techniques of financial analysis, to evaluate financial situation and economy of both companies during the years 2010-2014. Based on the received results possible measurements for keeping or improving the situation of both companies in future with be suggested.
The theoretical part is focused of problems of financial analysis, basic methods and technique according to studying of special literature. The second part deals with application and evaluation of selected parametres in both companies, based on data receivend from accounting document. The thesis conclusion sums up the obtained results. Possible recommendations for keeping or improving of the recent situation of the companies are added.

The aim of this thesis is the evaluation of financial situation in the company IPC plast, s. r. o., the producer of paint rollers and its parts. The evaluation uses the methods of financial analysis and is based on the dates between the years 2010-2014.
The theoretical part introduces the financial analysis, its users, sources of information and the methods and indicators that are applied in the practical part.
The practical part consists of the company introduction and the application of methods and indicators described in theoretical part. The author of this thesis implemented horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet, the profit and loss account, measure ratios and models of bankruptcy and solvency.
The result approved the financial stability of the company and its ability to pay liabilities.
The author of the thesis assumes that this trend will not change in future.

Financial analysis of chosen enterprise

The bachelor thesis deals with drawing up the financial analysis of the company Colognia press, a.s. for the years 2009-2013. The financial analysis is made by using models and indicators that are drawn from the literature.
The theoretical part of this thesis is focused on characteristics and explanation of the terms which appears in the financial analysis. The following describes and explains selected methods and indicators.
The practical part of this thesis is using the knowledge from the previous part. Information is taken from the financial statements. It shortly describes the company. Furthermore there is a horizontal and a vertical analysis made. There are also used ratio indicators like profitability, liquidity, activity and stability. Models of bankruptcy and solvency are used at the end of the practical part.
The results gained in the practical part are evaluated in the conclusion. On the basis of these results, some measures are suggested to improve the financial health of the company.

This bachelor thesis show how important is to investigate and analyze the financial situation the small and large company. Nowadays it´s very important to maintain health of company and without any problems in a good position in the market and it is necessary to assess the situation through financial analysis.
In the first part is used the professional publications for definitions related to financial analysis. It includes what options we have for creating financial analysis and who is doing it. An important aspect is who uses analysis and for who are the results most important. An essential part of the work is description of the procedures for evaluation of different aspects and description of the company that provided the necessary data and information for bachelor thesis to create financial analysis; it means organizational structure, business activity and so on.
The second part includes own calculations and explanations of the information arising from the calculations.
