The influence of children's organizations on the way of spending free time activities of children and the youth. Michaela Mikulenková, DiS. Summary The purpose of this bachelor's work is to highlight importance and the influence of children's organizations on children's and the youth's leisure. There is a definition of free time, its historical development, viewpoints and opinions, functions, the import a the danger which can be hidden in it. The second part describes education and upbringing in children's free time. Last but not least, there is a chapter about children's free time organizations and their activities. Practical part is devoted to research of children's leisure. The results are compared with my simillar research from 2010. The aim of this research is to find the answer on the using institucional free time activities and the way of spanding free time by the pupils from elementary school in Štěchovice.
Prevention of risk behaviour at upper primary school in relation to the issue of leisure time

The study enquires into the issue of risk behaviour prevention in relation to the importance of leisure time in upper primary school pupils. The theoretical part looks into the characteristics of leisure time and its importance, causes of risk behaviour, and the options for its prevention. The practical part examines the views of pupils, parents and education staff on the issues of risk behaviour and leisure time. The aim of the study was to analyse the types of leisure time activities and other related phenomena in a selected group of upper primary school pupils. The quantitative research approach was utilised, the data was acquired by means of a questionnaire. The survey research served as a basis for formulation of recommendations for leisure time education.
The impact of curriculum reform in the area of leisure

This work deals with curricular reform and its relation to leisure education. Trying to locate the targets of education for the society model curriculum. When finding the key competencies understood as primarily a means of fulfilling the objectives of reform attempts to map these competences, in the practical part analyze the documents containing leisure facilities targets and looking how their goals coincide with the goals of the curriculum reform, and whether the objectives of the planned use of key competencies.
Christian Art in the work of The Art group
KLADIVOVÁ, Hana
The thesis deals with the working possibilities for the young school kids in the arts group. The goal is to teach the kids to recognize the arts and cultivate their sensitivity for the art in harmony with the goals of The General Educational Program for the basic education. It is offered to recognize the arts in historical, artistic and ethical context based on the Christian Arts. Besides the explanation of the basic terms, which are important for the work with the works of art in the Arts group, there is described the development of the Christian arts from the beginning of Christianity, through Medieval times and the Renaissance to the present in the context of the specific period. Further there are described the young school kids and the activities of the group with a definition of its main goals. The following goals of the arts group are emphasized: the development of the sensitivity for the art, the understanding of the theme of the piece of art and work with it, the real results of the work with the piece of art for instance different tasks on the topics of works of art.
Using of leisure time in families with pre-school children in the region of the city Pelhřimov

The thesis deals with leisure time in families with pre-school children in the region of the city Pelhřimov. It desribes conception of the leisure time in families with one or more children. The theoretic part talks about family, follows up its meanings and functions in human life. There is a short description of development of the family in modern time and some specifics of the families with younger preschool children too. Then there are desribed relationships in family (depending on the number of children in the family) and an intergenerational learning process. The next section is devoted to leisure time and its role in human life. We will find there a definition of a leisure time, a brief look at the historical evolution of this phenomenon in modern time and some of its specifics in contemporary family life. The work next deals with some socio-psychological characteristics of younger pre-school children with regard for leisure time. There are written some characteristics of the Pelhřimov?s region related to leisure time. The researching part of the work describes how the conception of the leisure time looks in the family of younger pre-school children in the Pelhřimov?s region. It highlights some of the differences in the conception among families with one or more children too. In a selected population sample survey was carried out using semi-structured interviews. They were then processed using a triple-coding grounded theory.
PHDR. BRETISLAV HOFBAUER´S LIFEWORK

This thesis analyses Bretislav Hofbauer´s writings. It begins with his biography which makes his works easily to be classified. Next to this, the thesis gives mapping and analysis of Hofbauer´s works he wrote or he helped to write. It refers authors who influenced Hofbauer´s philosophical thinking and his complex view of leisure time, education and pedagogy of leisure time. The other part puts obtained data together and divides them in three thematic parts which are possibly defined as main. Consecutively it formulate conclusions and states Hofbauer´s asset into leisure time´s theory. His complete articles and books are to be found in the supplement.
Development of empathy like the aim of education and behavior

This final thesis introduces empathy like one of the target of education and learning. It defines the terms emotion and emotional intelligence. It gives information about the notion education in the free time ? its characteristic, targets and methods. It deals with possibilities of development of empathy during the education in the free time. It describes the targets of the education in preschool and school age. It deals with the historical development of the term, evolutional conditions to empathy and the connections with the moral cognizance in the chapter about empathy. It describes some of the factors that can develop the empathetic behaviour in the last chapter.
Comparison of the spare time activities offer at the juinor schools in České Budějovice.

This work offers us the comparison of the spare time activities offer within all junior schools in České Budějovice. Theoretical part describes spare time, education during spare time and spare time pedagogue characteristics. Further, it acquaints us with the offer of leisure time activities, division of spare time activities and institutions which organize a spare time. Practical part includes the survey of spare time activities offer within various junior schools from the point of view of their division and according of the particular activities. We can find here the numbers of particular activities, their complete overview as well as their total numbers at all schools together. Further we can compare numbers of various activities at particular schools in the České Budějovice town. In concluding part there are three schools used as example, where we can see an overview of the particular spare time activities attendance.
Doing Philosophy with Children as a Way of Experience-Based Leisure Education

The thesis presents possibilities and hazards resulting from the combination of experience-based education methods and those of doing philosophy with children. Having defined the terms used, it introduces the aims, key features and basic methods of leisure education; furthermore, experience-based education is described in more detail together with its fundamental elements: dramaturgy, adventure, reflection and games. The latter two elements are understood to be the links between experience-based education and Philosophy for children program. Then, the follow-up reflection on the interface between Philosophy with children and experiential activities is the substantial part of the thesis. Besides other topics, the philosophical aspects of games and reflection (review) as possible ways of experience-based philosophical inquiry are dealt with. Thus, in the closing part of the thesis, the potential for connecting philosophical inquiry and the experience itself is outlined.
