The sales contract in international business transactions

The topic of my diploma thesis is "The sales contract in international business transactions". The development of international trade is currently thriving, as evidenced by the fact that the significance of the international trade in the Czech Republic continues to grow. The reason I chose this topic is that the international sales contract is one of the most important contract in the field of international trade and I decided to expand my knowledge on that field. The diploma thesis analyzes the international sales contract in relation to the historical development of the term international sales contract, to its definition, legislation and unification efforts in the field of international sales contract legislation. The diploma thesis is structured into three chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the term sales contract in international business transactions. It contains the basic characteristics of the sales contract in Czech law, the characteristics of the term international business transactions and the largest part of this chapter is concerned with the historical development of the international sales contract and United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, as the basic legislation in relation to the international sales contract. Deduplication methods in databases

In the present work we study the record deduplication problem as an issue of data quality. We define duplicates as records having different syntax and the same semantics and which are representing the same real-world entity. The main goal of this work is to provide the overview of existing deduplication methods according to their requirements, results and usability. We focus on the comparison of two groups of record deduplication methods - with and without the domain knowledge. Therefore, the second part of this work is dedicated to the implementation of our method which does not utilize any domain knowledge and compare its results with the results of commercial tool deeply utilizing the domain knowledge.

Design of electrical power supply of city Jičín

The thesis deals with the issue of voltage changes or changes in the supply of electric energy of the particular town. The work entitled "Design of electrical power supply of city Jičín" addresses the specific case of unification of the town of Jičín. The first part describes the current state of distribution equipment, including calculations of short-circuit conditions, cross sections, a description of the sites of electricity consumption and the power consumption of the town. From the detailed description of the current state it is clear that most of the equipment is beyond its mean time to breakdown and has been in operation longer than intended. The next chapters describe possible solutions to reconstruction of the facilities. The first option – marked as option A – aims to maintain the existing 10kV distribution lines. Option B presents a solution in the form of abolition of urban transformation and transition to the 35kV voltage level (which is the voltage level used in the CEZ Distribution plc, eastern area). A comparison of proposed options is made in the technical-economic evaluation. The evaluation brings a detailed description of progress of implementation and planning of the reconstruction of facility particular parts for individual years. The conclusion summarizes the results of the technical-economic assessment of both options and gives reasons why option B, which proposes transition to the 35kV voltage level, is more advantageous.

Sensor Data Analysis for Advanced User Interfaces

The paper deals with the creation of interface based on multiple input signals, i.e. multimodal interface. For this purpose analyzes the benefits of the approach to communicate with the device that way. The work also includes an overview of the level at which you can perform data fusion, and different approaches to the layout of the system architecture for multimodal data processing. The important part is the actual design of the system, where for the interface was chosen distributed architecture using software agents for processing inputs. As a method for data integration was picked hybrid fusion based on dialog driven and unification strategy. The result should be an interface for media center control and interaction with other devices around the user.

The impact of the debt crisis on monetary integration in Europe

The bureaucratic structures of European Union, Eurozone etc.; deal with the issue of monetary integration these days. This point was achieved, because of the beginning of debt crisis, which has erupted in 2009. In this thesis is a clear explanation of monetary integration in general, hers costs and benefits and also historical development within the framework of monetary union in Europe. The emphasis is placed on creation reasons of debt crisis, with detailed description and interpretation of the global imbalances principle, applied on Eurozone members. In the part discussing global imbalances are stated PIIGS states and their main task within the framework of debt crisis. The most important part is the part, noticing the concrete steps in European integration deepening such as formation of stability mechanisms -- EFSM, EFSF, ESM; continues to preparation of formation named as bank union; introduction of financial transaction tax etc. The might and theoretical solutions, like Eurobonds or disintegration of Eurozone, are also included. The last paragraph sums up impact of debt crisis on integration processes.

The classification of accommodation facilities in the Czech Republic and foreign countries

The aim of my thesis is to aprise the reader with the meaning and purpose of classification of accommodation in the Czech Republic. I am trying to compare the classification of 2009 with the present classification valid since 2010 till 2012 but also with classifications of other countries. For this comparison I chose the classification of the accommodation in Great Britain which is according my opinion very detailed but also with the classification of other, mainly European countries (with the American classification I compare the classification only in general terms).
