Development of gymnastics equipment and its influence on changes in gymnastics exercises

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to focus on the origin and development of gymnastics equipment and the changes in movement content over the years. All the competition apparatus of men and women in artistic gymnastics are presented. In addition to the construction and movement development, significant names of men and women who excelled on each apparatus at the specific time are mentioned for each apparatus. The thesis also includes a description of the origins and development of gymnastics, including the history of physical education systems in the world and in our country. The bachelor thesis is solved on the basis of the application of historical methods.
