Stav obnovy javoru klenu (Acer pseudoplatanus L.) na Školním lesním podniku 'Masarykův les' Křtiny
Mikoš, Ondřej
his bachelor's thesis deals with the natural and artificial regeneration of sycamore maple at the Masaryk Forest Křtiny School Forest Enterprise. According to forest management records, natural and artificial regeneration was evaluated between 2013 and 2021. The extent of restoration was determined according to individual years, forests, the method of restoration, the target economic method and the set of forest types. The results showed an increase in the extent of sycamore maple in the artificial regeneration of the forest during the observed period, in 2017 17 areas were afforested and in 2020 40 areas. The largest extent of natural maple regeneration was reported in the Habrůvka forest during the period under review, namely 1.6 ha in 2014. Their structure was further investigated in three selected stands in the young stage with a significant proportion of sycamore maple. Trees in the stands were classified on three plots in each stand, the enumerated thickness was measured and the target trees for which the height was measured were selected. A sufficient number of promising (target) sycamore maple was found in all stands. The result also shows that the sycamore maple in the evaluated thicket is most often mixed with ash and european beech.
Struktura porostů pionýrských dřevin a jejich obnova v přírodní lesní oblasti 29 - Nízký Jeseník
Haltof, René
The submitted diploma thesis deals with the structure of pioneer tree stands and their subsequent regeneration in the natural forest area 29 - Nízký Jeseník, created by successions after allochthonous spruce, specifically located at LS Vítkov and LS Opava (LČR, s. p.). The aim was to describe the structure of medium old forest stands with a predominance of birch in the area of interest, in selected forest stands, and to register all tree species. For the upperstory (trees over 2 meters), which is mainly formed by birch, measure the diameter of the tree at breast height. Then find out their growth potential and select target trees. For target trees, determine the diameter increment and also the length and width of the crown. For trees below 2 meters (understory), measure their height and differentiate them according to the origin – natural or artificial regeneration and also evaluate the growth potential of trees from natural and successful artificial regeneration. In accordance with the objectives of the thesis, the specifics of tending usable in forestry practice were formulated.
Stav obnovy lesa po vichřici Emma na lesní správě Lanškroun - revír Letohrad
Černohousová, Jana
The main objective of submitted thesis was the assessment of the state and a development of forest regeneration of selected areas devastated by the wind caused by the wind disturbance Emma in 2008 in the hunting ground of Letohrad (Forest management Lanškroun). The state of recovery has been analyzed based on registration documents and a field survey. Furthermore, the analysis in the area of interest has been performed focusing on the growth of Norway spruce and a common fir in different microclimate conditions. Next it was monitored which species grows out the most in extreme conditions of clearing area. Another part of the piece dealt with the costs of sites regeneration. Based on the results, the aim of the thesis was to optimize the process of regeneration of disturbed sites in the area of interest. At selected sites of Letohrad area were identified the biggest issues connected to Norway spruce and a common fir planting. Among the main limiting factors were recognized unsuitable choice of site, extreme climatic conditions, weed infestation and a high amount of game. Spruce and fir had the most significant increment in the sites of small area element character. Planting of spruce in the third altitudinal forest zone did not increment well and was visibly lagging. On the contrary, an oak followed by a beech thrived under the same conditions. The highest costs were identified at problematic, still not established disturbed area of 309G11.
Růst a prosperita výsadeb douglasky tisolisté na Opočensku
Matějka, Ondřej
The aim of this diploma thesis is to assess the growth potential of Douglas fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii / Mirbel / Franco) compared to other agricultural tree species of the Czech Republic. Data collection took place on the plots located in the forests of Kristina Colloredo-Mansfeld's property in Opočensko. There were 2 areas where douglas were grown in various mixtures with pine, spruce, oak and beech. By evaluating the results for 5 years of observation, it was found that Douglas already has a demonstrably faster growth rate in the early stage of growth, and in some cases has 2.5 times higher production potential than most of our agricultural tree species. The benefit of this work is to demonstrate the potential production capacities of douglas and their positive benefits to our forestry, including resilience and ability to adapt to current climate change.
Vyhodnocení úspěšnosti obnovy lesa na kalamitních holinách LS LČR Jablunkov
Baselides, Andrzej
This work deals with artificial regeneration of the forest on the calamity clearing areas LCR LS Jablunkov. The main objective of this bachelor thesis was to evaluate the growth development of 5-8 years aged plantations of Norway spruce, silver fir, European Beech, pedunculated oak, small-leaved lime tree and black alder, after planting at water-affected sites. The other objective was to compare the results with growth at nutrient sites. The following parameters were evaluated: Losses, length of the shoot, last increment, diameter of the root collar, length of the needles, size of the assimilation apparatus of leaves, color of the needles, damaging, warp of the stem, vertical deflection of the stem, deployment height of forked trees, stem form and shape of the crown. Evaluation of trees´ root system was also part of this work. Results showed, that black alder and Norway spruce grow the best at the water-affected sites. Planting of small-leaved lime tree and pedunculated oak didn´t approve, on the contrary. Another problem was the fact, that there were serious deformations of the root system at all tree species. The last issue were the high losses due to the poor quality of the planting stock, improper way of planting, and large number of the occurring game. The comparison between water-affected and nutrient sites shows, that the trees grow better and reach better parametres and smaller losses at the nutrient sites.
Evaluation of growth of beech plantations (Fagus sylvatica L.) in dependence on used reproduction material and site-ecological conditions.
Florián, Tomáš ; Remeš, Jiří (advisor) ; Bílek, Lukáš (referee)
Abstract On the Forest district Strašice, which is located at the Division Hořovice, Military Forests and Farms was founded in 2012 eight plots on 4 wooded clearings. Boots were afforested beech (Fagus sylvatica L.). Forestation was on these plots used simpleroot planting stock a indoorroot planting stock. Another criterion was the intensity of sunlight seedlings (permanent sunshine / shading; during the day changing insolation). The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the growth of seedlings depending on the planting stock and intensity of solar radiation. Subsequently, the proposed recommendations, which would be appropriate to deal with in practice. Seedlings were permanently marked with a unique letter and number. From 2012 until 2014 at the end of the growing season measured growth variables - root collar diameter, height of seedlings, height increment, quality features and mortality. Top maturing seedlings on an area where it was used in afforestation simpleroot planting stock material and irradiation area during the day alternating shading. Not permanently sunlit and shaded. On the contrary, indoorroot planting stock material is higher on permanently sunlit area than in permanently shaded. This result is identical to the results of other well-oriented work. The results and conclusions of this thesis is planted beech recommendations on areas where direct exposure varies during the day with the shading (light - shadow). However, it is not always possible and feasible, in terms of the internal structure of vegetation planted beech at said place. It is therefore possible to plant bare planting material surfaces with extreme lighting conditions (areas permanently sunlit or shaded). But what concerns simpleroot planting stock material it is advisable to observe the fact that much better grows in areas with favorable conditions (areas with alternating irradiation and shading). It is also necessary to comply with environmental requirements beech. Always determine the most appropriate place on the bare surface (Clearfelling) for the planting of beech. Use only high quality planting material conforming to CSN 482115. Professional supervision forester at cut the grass work quality and functionality over the fence, and thus mitigate damage by animals. Therefore seek the highest possible representation of planted trees (to comply with the statutory requirements for supportability) due to the selection of the best individuals in the education and creating the future quality and healthy growth.
Analysis of artificial regeneration methods of silver fir (Abies alba Mill.) in the selected forest stands of the Forest district Lužná.
Bledý, Michal ; Remeš, Jiří (advisor) ; Podrázský, Vilém (referee)
This diploma thesis is dealing with analysis and statistical evaluation of regeneration methods introducing silver fir to forests in the area LS Lužná, forest district Bor. The aim of this thesis was to make the measurements of silver fir plants growing in the existing permanent research plots, to establish new research plots and perform general evaluation of alternative regeneration approaches. The theoretical part deals with the issue of silver fir regeneration, its expansion and areal, ecological requirements, usability and physiological description of this species were also taken into consideration. This part of the thesis was also focused on description of the various alternative ways of reintroducing this species to the forest. It was made a description of the principles of forest tending, natural and artificial regeneration of silver fir stands with respect to its environmental requirements. The biotic and abiotic pests of silver fir and effective defence against these pests were also discussed. It was made the analyses of factors affecting positively and negatively the growth and development of silver fir. Silver fir was described as an ameliorative and stabilizing tree species. In the practical part of this thesis an analysis of local conditions on the ground Bor, LS Lužná; specifically analysis of climate, soil, light and growth conditions was performed. They were recorded and compared to findings on the permanent research plots (established in 2014) and newly established research plots. The results were evaluated by different growth conditions on the research and permanent research plots. The differences in growth conditions in the different regeneration variants were evaluated statistically.
Stav a vývoj obnovy lesa na majetku „Ostravské městské lesy“
Adamov, Jan
The subject of this thesis is to evaluate the development of rehabilitation and urban forests majetcích Ostrava sro most represented economic file is 6446 (beech farm nutrient habitats center position). The main tree species are spruce and oak. The vast majority of recovery occurs artificial regeneration. Natural regeneration is there a minimum share. Of the total area of 1,101.68 hectares of vegetation were over 10 years of renewed 254.78 hectares of forest, which is 23.10% of the total forest area under the administration of the Ostrava urban forests. In the period 2004 - 2013 was only natural regeneration registered in 2009 and 0.18 hectares in 2013, 1.2 hectares. During this period, the restoration performed on deciduous trees 147.17 hectares and 38.59 hectares of coniferous trees. Field investigation dealt with the silver fir. Crops with the representation of this species were monitored Fruiting fir stands, the status of young stands of fir and fir sowing. Prerequisity for successful recovery and cultivation of fir on property is nedeed for the cultivation of existing vegetation and protection against animals.
Analýza zajištěných kultur jedle a buku na Školním polesí Hůrky SLŠ Písek
Ťoupal, Milan
The diploma thesis aim was analysis of established plantation Silver fir, European beech and natural regeneration of other tree species to Training Forest District Hůrky, Secondary Forestry School Písek. It was after bark beetle disaster. This diploma thesis goes from bachelor thesis: Evaluation of the artificial regeneration of Silver fir and European beech at Training Forest District Hůrky, Secondary Forestry School Písek. Density, share, height, root colar diameter, last increment of height and losses each tree species was find out within stand. 3120 trees was measured in 2013. It is about 467 trees less than 2011. Natural regeneration Scots pine had the biggest losses (29,4 %). Probably it influence on competition. Total losses to artificial regeneration silver fir was 56 %, of which 1,6 % to last two years. The most prefer tree was Scots pine -- 33,4 % and Douglas fir 32,3 %. Silver fir had only 15,3 % from total share. Density trees (Scots pine, Douglas fir, silver fir, European beech, Norway spruce, European larch, sessile oak, cherry, white pine) was 16 830 pcs/ha. The higher height increment had sessile oak (70,1 cm), on the other hand lower height increment had Norway spruce (19,6 cm). Result of this measured is, that silver fir and European beech had not regenerated. Because natural regeneration was domination than artificial regeneration. In current time, it can states, that culture meet all parameters of established plantation.
