Design of anchor for general aviation aircraft
Buchta, Adam ; Löffelmann, František (referee) ; Sklenář, Filip (advisor)
Aim of my bychelor’s thesis is to, based on existing anchoring instruments from aviation industry and other fields, design an anchoring instrument, that would exceed or improve qualities of existing anchors in some way. Another ralated aim is to understand the working mechanism of such anchoring systems and also work out a procedure of testing of ground anchors.

Tree House - Příbytky v korunách stromů
Kubíček, Miroslav
Theoretical part of the project is comprehensive summary which shows the basic problematics of treehouses and their build-up. It also points to the quality of the build-up by which should be the construction made. The practical part represents a real project of holiday property on specific place set by client. One of the main problem during the creation of the project was to face the treehouse to the perfect valley-view. The benefits of the project are simplicity and possibility to use the treehouse during the winter time. Client had no visual request in advance.
Emotional Anchoring in Experimental Asset Markets
Pospíšil, David ; Korbel, Václav (advisor) ; Gregor, Martin (referee)
Human decision making process is influenced by many external as well as internal factors. Our behaviour cannot be deemed as fully rational. This thesis investigates the effect of emotional anchoring on a propensity to enter an asset bubble. This effect was observed in an experiment ran on an online crowdsourcing platform, Amazon Mechanical Turk. The negative anchor proves to have a significant negative effect, i.e. when a subject is under the negative anchor she is more prone to enter the bubble. The positive anchor does not have any significant effect. This thesis contributes to the general knowledge by confirming that trading decisions we make are subjected to the emotions we feel prior to making the decisions. Barriers of rationality influencing decision making
Ječmen, Michal ; Vrbová, Lucie (advisor) ; Hájek, Jiří (referee)
The aim of this thesis is thanks to an executed experiment among students of Economical University in Prague identify barriers of rationality influencing decision making. For this purpose we executed a quantitative research in the form of a questionnaire specially created for this experiment that helped us test barriers of rationality in students' decision making. We examined three types of barriers: an anchor, an influence of "FOR FREE" and adding a decoy among other choices. For data evaluation we had used methods of descriptive statistics, such as mode, median and measures of variability that we subsequently used for the evaluation of data by tests of hypotheses to compare their outcome with our assumptions. We have proved the validity of the influence of the "FOR FREE", the effect of the anchor and the decoy we have not proved in this research. We also suggested the improvement of the research and options how to reduce the influence of barriers of rationality.
