Dialect under the Giant Mountains region which is especially reflected in domestic form of given names

This thesis deals with phonology and morphology of the microregion under the Giant Mountains (Podkrkonoší) and tries to find out which of the features considered to be characteristic for this region have been preserved/ have been lost. The thesis compares these results with the results of Český jazykový atlas (Czech language atlas). In the anthroponymic section, the thesis discusses the most common suffixes for the formation of domestic forms of given names and divides them further into several groups based on their use across generations or based on their use when expressing positive/neutral/negative relation to the naming of a person. Among these suffixes, it identifies two typical regional formants -če, -iště which are used for the formation of general nouns (appellatives) and naming nouns (propria), and compares their use with the older research.
Linguistic aspect of the selected old Czech literary text

The topic of this thesis is the linguistic analysis of the Apollonius of Tyre novel contained in the Pinvicka collection, which comes from the second half of the 15th century. During the creation of the thesis is used especially the qualitative textual analysis, which is in the major part of the thesis supplemented by the quantitative statistical analysis. Opening parts of the thesis represent general information about the Pinvicka collection, in which is contained the analysed literary landmark, and about the literary landmark itself. Follows the detailed analysis of the orthography and of all linguistic layers, i.e. phonology, morphology, syntax and word formation. Every linguistic layer and the orthography are elaborated in a separate chapter. At the end of each chapter is the summary of the achieved results, which includes also charts and tables. In the chapter, which is devoted to the orthography, is primarily payd attention to the speech sounds, for which is typical disunited way of transcript. In the phonological part are treated phonic changes, which are realized in the text. The morphological part of the thesis is concerned with representation of word classes and particulary with grammatical cathegories of nouns and verbs. Transcription and linguistic analysis of chapter 13rd of the Prophet Daniel in the Mikulov's Bible

This thesis deals with the topic Transcription and Linguistic Analysis of Chapters 13 of the Prophet Daniel in the Mikulov's Bible. Its aim is to briefly summarize the history of Bible translation on the Czech territory. It also presents the text of the Mikulov's Bible, which has not yet been processed and its literary and historical classification. The work also includes transliteration and transcription of the text, including its comment. Furthermore, already dealing with linguistic analysis of the examined text in the terms of orthography, phonology, morphology and syntax. Presence of reproductions of foreign and own speech in usual communication and used characteristic features of spokenness

This thesis aims to map the occurrence of reproduction of own and other people's language in everyday communication and focus on characteristic features of spokenness. After the first part, which will study this issue in theoretical level, proceed to the analysis. Everything will be completed by pondering on the research results and their implications. The material from which the work is based, consists monologues and dialogues of 65 people of different ages, gender and social inclusion. By these criteria the material is also categorized and analyzed in the context of reproduction and of characteristic features of spokenness in all layers of simple communicative style. All the material isn't older than two years and using by a recording equipment is maintained in spoken and subsequently also in written form.
An Analysis of regional dialects spoken in Nové Syrovice, Láz

The topic of this work is the analysis of dialect in locations of Nové Syrovice and Láz in the Třebíč region. The author analyses the spoken expressions of three generations (old, middle age and the youngest). The author performs phonetics, morphology and lexical analysis of dialect phenomena and evaluates the current situation of the dialect in this region. The aim of this work is to assess the degree of preservation of dialect features, retreat of previously specific elements or innovation caused by the influence of the media.
Characteristic feature sof spokenness in inhabitant´s communications in the region of Strakonice

My work aims to describe specific general czech linguistic means typical of Strakonice region and its vicinity as well as its quantity. The work at first deals with simply informing style in theoretical level and than it slowly goes to analytical level and it ends by discussion about the benefit of the prepared data. The material from which it proceeds is made by monologues of the selected people in the age of 15-75 years living in the mentioned area. The material which has primarily a recording form and secondarily written form is subsequently divided into the groups according to the age, gender and social classification of the mouthpieces and it is also analyzed under the terms of the arisen groups from the compositional, phone word, form word, syntactical and lexical standpoint.
The Linguistic Characteristics of a Baroque Legend

Main topic of this work is to analyze language elements used in the legend from baroque period and that from the complete conception on the gross information contents this work and characteristic features of phonetics and morfology. No research in the field of syntax and lexicology was made at this point (our final work would be to extensive). The complete interpretation refers to father Jiří David´s baroque legend Medicus Hercinius, {\dots} dated 1713. First part we apply to common informations about the author, about the period, in which he lived and wrote his legend, and about his contemporaries. We describe the legendistic literature and conditions to her expansibility in our country, the life of saint Gunther then and the substance of whole David´s work in general. There are important informations about noted humanismus and baroque authors in next two chapters. We describe individual phenomens of two language levels phonetics and morfology then, especially with regard to theory and practice. Principal aim of my work is to contribute to o deeper understanding of Czech language from the late baroque.
Specific features of spoken language of native speakers in selected locations in the country of Domažlice

This thesis is aimed at the current state of Chod dialect which is a part of South-West Bohemian dialectal group. It deals first of all with the study of lexical level of the dialect mentioned above, however phonology as well as morphology is also concerned. The basic part of the thesis is consisted of thematic and differential dictionaries which reflect the current state of vocabulary of Chod dialect based upon the research done between 2004 {--} 2007. The thesis is completed with the chapter describing a historical development of the explored area and general information on dialectology and dialectal research is also included. The extra materials involve transcribed utterances of informants.
The Language of Šimon Lomnický of Budeč

The subject of my graduation is an analyse of the language of Šimon Lomnický z Budče in his publication Instrukcí aneb Krátké naučení hospodáře mladého... (1586). The thesis reports about the characteristic of phonetic, formative and lexical side of his language. The main attention is devoted to the word-stock and its analyse from different points of view including the phraseology. The purpose of the thesis is an evaluation of the language of Šimon Lomnický as a representative of the period language at the turn of 16th and 17th century.
