Optimization of intersection signaling
Langer, Vojtěch ; Dosoudilová, Monika (referee) ; Kůdela, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis is devoted to a search of methods used for the optimization of traffic signalling. The thesis is divided into four parts. Firstly procedure used for designing signalling control is briefly introduced. The following is a description of the optimization discipline. The main part is the search of the methods used. In the last part task of designing parameters of light control of a fictitious intersection is being solved.

Analysis of the integrated traffic information system of the Czech Republic
Kunteová, Adéla ; Pekárek, Aleš (advisor) ; Lipková, Helena (referee)
This bachelor thesis describes in detail the Integrated traffic information system of the Czech republic, analyzes the individual components and their functions. Author presents the history of the system and the legislative basis and introduces the scheme of the system. It deals with the ways in which data are collected by agenda systems, telematics systems and drivers, how are evaluated as traffic incidents and how are transmitted to the National traffic information and control center, where they are processed. After processing traffic information is distributed to customers - public administrative, Internet portals, proffesionals or using modern technology directly to drivers. Reader gets familiar with modern telematics systems which currently helps manage traffic on roads and highways almost in real time.
Model for the project area NOMŘÍZ
Přikryl, Jan
This document describes the basic state model of the area used in the updated version of the control algorithm for the project NOMŘÍZ. The document is a shortened version of the internal uncollated nonpublic implementation document for internal use ÚTIA and ELTODO as.
Statistical analysis and research on the links in the measured traffic data
Brabec, M. ; Konár, O. ; Kasanický, I. ; Pelikán, E. ; Přikryl, Jan
One of the current problems in transport research is the problem of availability of huge amounts of unused data measured telematics systems on motorways and urban roads. This data often contain information that - without the use of appropriate mathematical tools for data analysis - remain hidden and unused for traffic control. Within the project, a new method of traffic congestion in the urban areas, our aim is to propose new algorithms for adaptive control of urban transport networks. The current version of the algorithm is based on a linearized model of the development length of the queue of vehicles waiting at the red light, based on the classic balance of conservation. This model is for cases saturation supplemented alternative model queue length as a function of traffic occupancy detector. The aim of the work described in this report was to investigate possible links and other hidden states of the transport system, hidden in the measured data, and until now not considered by the traffic model used.
Overview of current scientific and application results in the control of traffic lights using fuzzy logic
Koukol, M. ; Přikryl, Jan
The report describes the basic principles of fuzzy approach to the management of traffic lights on roads, gives an overview of published literature and explains how implemetnace simple fuzzy control system within a microsimulation software.
Supervisory control truck when traveling abroad
PAVLASOVÁ, Hana
The main objective of this study was to analyze the supervisory control of the company STTRANS, focusing on transportation dispatcher job within a week and watch how they governed and navigating assigned trucks. Own observation or interviews with the dispatcher or the Head of Division I examined the information that I needed for further work. I have defined the tasks of the truck and I watched them work. Dispatcher can thanks to modern technology to monitor the movement of all assigned vehicles. Their movements are creating records that will allow me, through data processing and computer technology to re-compare the activities of all tracked vehicles. Based on the gathered data, I replied to the hypotheses and propose measures on possible improvements.  To expand its business in the transport of materials and fluids in order to receive orders to load more characters than ever before.  assigned to the truck instead of two drivers and one that could increase firm performance.  reach more potential customers, which could offer a quality service.  More care to monitor mileage of drivers, they all have a chance at achieving a comparable level of monthly salary.  Reallocate always a dispatcher for the afternoon shift, which would address the problem of drivers on the road, and the dispatcher would not have to work to solve problems in their personal leisure. Výledků The analysis showed that currently paid to implement the company standards of quality standards.
Analysis of transportation systems in Dublin and Bratislava
Závodská, Tatiana ; Mervart, Michal (advisor) ; Jirsák, Petr (referee)
This thesis presents a comparison of the two urban systems in Dublin and Bratislava with regard to the organization of transport and traffic management, fleet composition and fare. Aims to show the different approaches to the concept of public transport and progression, which in recent years the city has achieved.
