Development of speed skills in ice hockey in categorie U11, U13, U15

Title: Development of speed skills in ice hockey in categories U11, U13, U15 Objectives: This master thesis is mainly focusing on verify whether the development of speed skills on the ice in ice hockey is effective off-ice training. Another goal of the thesis is to experimentally verify if the development of speed skills has a different impact on selected age groups according to the same intervention program. Methods: In this master thesis was used the method of quantitative analysis of results. The measurement took place in the form of motor tests, which were compared between two research groups. Results: All categories were divided into two research groups, which completed a six-week intervention training program on-ice and off-ice or only on-ice. In the 20 m direct sprint test and test stop and start, there was a significant improvement more in the experimental group of all categories, which we assessed according to Cohen's d. In the reaction test, only the experimental group U15 improved. In the last agility Illinois test, experimental groups U13 and U15 improved. For the other groups, the players either did not improve significantly or both groups improved equally. Title: Current trends in off-ice training at the stage of the training cycle in the U12-U13 category Goals: To map the theoretical principles in the available literature for the creation of training programs for the development of motor abilities in the yearly training cycle. Then use the information to create training programs for U13 category. Methods: For the elaboration of the theoretical part, the method of data collection and study of scholar czech and foreign literature was used, from which we obtained the information about trends in off-ice training. Gymnastic preparation in sports games

The title: The gymnastic preparation of children in sport games The object: The object of this work is the finding how gymnastic preparation in the sport games in football and ice hockey looks like, how often do the trainers input the gymnastic preparation in their year training plan and what difficulties ensue from the realization of gymnastic preparation in the sport games. Methods: In this work I used questionaire method in order to find out the opinion and reflex of ice hockey and football trainers on subject of gymnastic preparation in sport games. In the case of misunderstanding I extended information through the use of dialogue. The theoretical part is processed by the use of specialized literature and internet resources. The results: I used the results from the questionaires and dialogues. It was found that ice hockey and football trainers input the gymnastic preparation in the year training plan and there are differences between ice hockey trainers and football trainers. Comparison of off-ice training in Canada and Czech republic in season

Title: Comparison of off-ice training in ice hockey in Canada and Czech republic in season. Objectives: Analyzing and comparing seletcted approaches of coaches from Canada and Czech republic. Methods: In our thesis we used a method of analysis and a method of comparison. The analysis method we used in the analysis of individual physical abilities of each period and annual training cycle and comparison method of comparing the information obtained from college internship, literature and expert consultations. Results: Based on comparison of several selected aproaches of strength and conditioning we can claim that selected strength and condtioning coaches use similar training philososphy, their work varies in mobility and endurance training and in using different modern technology.
