Static analysis of wooden structure

The thesis is focused on a static analysis of the timber frame structure. The designed structure has an atypical shape, where each frame has a different shape from previous one. The calculation and assessment is processed by SCIA Engineer program and subsequently verified by a simple hand calculation. The model is constructed according to the real shape of the structure and assessed for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state.

Environmental assessment of timbered house and brickwork block of flats

This thesis is concerned with the evaluation of sustainable construction. It is a multi-criteria evaluation focused on building environmental, socio-cultural sphere, economics and management. The reviews I chose passive apartment house in two of designs. The purpose of this study is to compare the standard insulated brick buildings and in our non-traditional wood construction. At the beginning there will explain the basic concepts associated with the topic. After that, the problems of the sustainable construction and environmental impact assessment, which will describe the basic concepts, methodologies, criteria, description of evaluation. The last part will be made an example of evaluation SBToolCZ brick and wooden buildings passive residential Duma. Comparison of both results achieved certification and think about the advantages or disadvantages of both options. The aim of this thesis is dedicated readers and explain to them the issues of this topic.
New town hall for the district Brno-North

The project describes the design of a new town hall in the new proposed urban structure on the site of a dilapidated complex of military barracks in Brno in Cerna Pole. It derives the mass of the town hall from the proposed urban structure in an exposed corner of the area. Its volume solution reflects the openness and transparency of the town hall building, its structural and material solution speaks about social responsibility and the intention to "lead by example".
Family house

The aim of my bachelor's thesis is a design of family house. The building is designed as two-story wooden frame building without cellar and with gable roof and garage with mono-pitched roof. The garage is proposed as a part of the house. Five bedrooms layout fulfills the requirements for four family members. The entrance of the house is situated on the southwest part. There is a relatively wide hallway located at entrance, with wooden staircase and entrance of study room, living room with kitchenette, utility room and bathroom with toilet. The top floor includes the hallway again, with entrance to bedroom, two rooms for kids, clothes room, bathroom and toilet. The rooms are for children and they are situated on the sunny side of the house. The garage is for single car and there is bicycles storage behind it. The construction of the house is wooden frame of KVH prism. The roof covering supports roof truss with modern sliding collar.
Detached house, Sovinec

The aim of my bachelor´s thesis is design of dispositions and structural solution for family house in (municipality) Sovinec at the level of documentation for construction. The object is located on the northern slope. It is two-story detached building with basement. (Layout of basement garage exceeds from the first floor plan and because of this maximally exploit the possibilities of the building parcel). Structural system of the basement consist of stay-in-place formwork. The first and second floor is made of wooden frame construction. The basement is covered with intensive green roof. This roof is supported by prefabriceted reinforced concrete Spiroll panels. The rest of house has pitched roof and loadbearing part of this roof is in form of modern sliding collar. The object architecturally fits into the surrounding landscape and it is designed according to the plan of the municipality Jiříkov.
Sheepfarm

It is an ecological family farm engaged in raising sheep and processing of sheep milk. There is a restaurant and accommodation at hotel level. Proposed set of objects is located south-west of the village Pozďatín on a gentle hill and is surrounded by pastures and woods. The concept is based on a traditional country farmhouse with a semi-closed court. The buildings are irregularly interwoven of narrow and tall blocks with different colors, which expand and illuminate the attic space and allowing its use. The northern building is a restaurant, accommodation for guests and a flat of house owner , there are stables in the south and side is covered parking for mechanization on the west side. Buildings are designed by wooden system, so-called the Platform-Frame system.
Non-standard family house

Aim of the thesis was to design Non-standard family house and work out documentation for construction realization. Designed building is two-storey family house for permanent residence of 4-6 persons with floor area 224m2. Non-standard solution is design of passive timber structure founded on reinforced concrete slab lying on thermal insulation pillow formed by foam glass. Using of natural materials as far as possible and creation of healthy inner micro-climate is very Non-standard too. The buiding has also very non-standard shape with combination of oblique and planar walls. Thesis itself consists of 2 main parts. First part is description of construction in technical report. Second part is main project documentation including calculations.
