Design of the dilatation pad for linear encoder
Moravanský, Richard ; Hadraba, Petr (referee) ; Štěpánek, Vojtěch (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the issue of linear length sensors, their dividing, construction, temperature effects and design of an dilatation pad. The aim of the work is a professional search on the topic of linear length sensors, design of variants of the pad and the associated recommendation for practice. The chapter of current knowledge is dedicated to basic knowledge about position sensors, ie. converter sensor connection types. The following chapter is about the description of the basic parts of linear systems, specifically the method of drive and lead in linear systems. After clarifying the concepts, the chapter of linear length sensors will be explained. The chapter deals in more depth with position measurement in linear systems, photoelectric sensing, and a linear encoder from HEIDENHEIN. As the last part of the theory, the analysis of thermal effects is presented. The practical part describes the design of variants of dilatation pad and assembly of elements that allow expansion, their connection and clamping. In the final part, the best variant and recommendation for practice is suggested.
Electro-thermal model and simulation of integrated circuit
Sikora, Martin ; Kledrowetz, Vilém (referee) ; Prokop, Roman (advisor)
Thermal effects in integrated circuits have increasing impact on chip's lifetime and function. For this reason, the chips must be subjected to electro-thermal simulations prior to the launch of production in order to avoid potential circuit failures. Therefore, in the first part of this diploma thesis these effects and methods of creating thermal models are described. The thesis also explores available tools for electro-thermal simulations and the way these simulators work. In the practical part of the thesis, the operation of electro-thermal simulation in the Eldo tool is verified, a method of automated thermal network creation is proposed and a application for its generation based on the circuit layout is implemented. The results of the electro-thermal simulation with the generated thermal network are compared with the results of the currently used method.
Bio-electromagnetic compatibility
Matulík, Martin ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Matulík, Radomír (advisor)
Following work deals with problems of effects of electromagnetic radiation on living organisms. It goes into interactions of electromagnetic radiation with environment, effects on living organisms, physical units of biological tissues and sorting types of electromagnetic radiation to determine means of protection against adverse health reactions. It enlighten means of establishing sanitary restrictions, differences in legal aspects at Czech republic and worldwide, possible medical utilization, even principles of selected diagnostic and therapeutic techniques. It looks into shielding effects of common materials, ordinarily used for protection against ionizing radiation via findings of practical measurements. Series of radiofrequency measurements has been done with precise spectrum analyzers, which should reveal some basic problems of frequency bands, ordinarily used in current period.
