Street Art and its Application in Art Education at Primary School

The diploma thesis "Street art in art education at primary school" deals with the global phenomenon of contemporary art culture, which street art undoubtedly is. The thesis traces the history of this specific art, its origin and development and highlights its diverse forms. Attention is also paid to selected world representatives of this phenomenon. The thesis also deals with the didactic platform within which street art can be used as a valuable source of inspiration for art education at the primary school. In the project part, a set of lessons with the given theme is further implemented, verifying its art-educational potential for art education practice.
Sport - series of Creative Lessons for Art Education at Primary School

The diploma thesis "Sport"-Series of Creative Lessons for Art Education at Primary School consists of a theoretical part and a project part. The theoretical part concerns a connection between art and sport. This connection will be explored from different perspectives in three sections. The first section will introduce several thoughts about similarities and differences between art and sport, even it will describe ideas that find sport as a part of art. The following part will present common history of art and sport and it introduces some artists and their art pieces, which have been inspired by physical activity. The last passage of the theoretical part relates to the theme sport as a motive of Art Education at Primary School. It considers the theme sport via didactics of Art Education, Framework Education Programme and methodical books. The practical part will present series of creative lessons for Art Education at Primary School, which topic is sport. It describes the structure of 7 parts that includes the series and its realization at Tomas Garrigue Masaryk´s Primary School in Vimperk.
"In motion". Series of Creative Lessons for Art Education at Primary School.

Both theoretical project-based thesis focuses on the topic of motion in art and education. To be able to cover this very complex subject, the thesis consists firstly of thematic search, which is dedicated to the phenomenon of capturing motion in the field of arts. It aims to examine motion and dynamics from a thematic perspective as well as constituted separately as an independent element by introducing the basic kinetic principles used in contemporary modern art. The introductory theoretical part of the thesis is secondly followed by a didactic analysis of the issue, mapping a few selected principles and describing how they are handled in primary school teaching. Subsequent part of the thesis is project-based, and it develops the topic further in a practical dimension. It presents eight interrelated, creative lectures including a written preparation and its application in a primary school classroom. It targets different dimensions of motion in art, various ways of expressing and capturing it through experimental methods involving traditional and modern art techniques, medias and practices.
Theme of everydayness and stereotype in Fine Art and Art Education

The following diploma thesis paper deals with the theme of everydayness and stereotypes within fine arts and art education. The theoretical part firstly focuses on monitoring the phenomenon of everydayness and stereotypes across various scientific disciplines, such as philosophy, sociology, psychology, anthropology or history. Subsequently the concept of depicting everydayness and stereotypes in fine arts is developed, which also includes authors whose work deal with the theme of everydayness and stereotypes and whose work fall into the period from the second half of the 20th century till the present day. We created three approaches to the given concept and each approach differs in their approach in depicting the reality of everyday life. In the didactic segment we deal with the issue of high school art education tasks and we follow it up with our own thematic tasks for high school students. Our thematic tasks include five related art tasks, which are aimed at the students to reflect on their own everydayness on several levels. The practical segment is a set of two posters, in which the author work reflects on her own everydayness and her changes depending on the environment. "The Journey" - Series of Creative Lessons for Art Education at Primary School

This final work consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part concerns the phenomenon of pilgrimage and travelling in present days and also mentions main exploration journeys realized during our history. It introduces some art pieces that deal with the motive of journey. These are separated into three specific groups- sketches in traveller diaries that were made during journeys by travellers and pilgrims, historical maps and current art inspired by variety of journey´s symbolism. Last pages of the theoretical part mention the journey as a motive of Art Education at Primary school. The practical part contains the implementation of the series called The Journey that was divided into seven subsequent blocks. These lessons were realized with the pupils of the 5th grade of the Grünwaldova primary school in České Budějovice. Results of their work are documented at the end of this final work.

This diploma thesis focuses on creating an art series on a theme of garden for primary school children. The thesis has got a theoretical and a practical part. In theoretical part, it focuses on the history of garden art and theme of garden in genre and intermedia production. The following chapter combines the theme of the garden with the use of curriculum documents. The next part takes the garden as a motive and medium for art education at primary school. The next chapter deals with the method of project teaching and use of art series in the art education. In practical part, this thesis focuses on the creation of a thematic series, which contains organization and implementation of five lessons created on the theme of the garden. The aim of this series is to bring children closer to the enviroment of the garden through the use of art activities.
Via crucis and modifications of this thema in visual culture

(ENG) This diploma thesis deals in a complex way with the theme of via crucis, from the kunsthistorical, social cultural and pedagogical point of view, therefore it is a connection of a theoretical study with an exploratory probe and also an art project. It analyses iconography and contexts of particular themes of passion cycle and it shows various appearance and current state of via crucis themselves in the Czech republic. At the same time this part aims to be an inspiration and a theoretical basis for teachers who would decide for the inclusion of a religious theme to the educational process. The thesis also indicates what pedagogical potential does a Christian theme imply in education and what educational aims stated in RVP could be achieved thanks to this theme. The thesis then deals with the theme of via crucis in the educational complex of art lessons and with the possibilities of didactic transformation of a passion story. The suggested and realized theme scheme maps the relationship and opinions of pupils and also the contribution and the difficulties of a religious theme used in educational process. Photography in the art education on primary school

The work deals with the inclusion of photographs in tutorial project for elementary school. The theoretical part consists of detailed information and knowledge from the history and philosophy of photography, which determine the attitudes of the photograph itself. This information is required for a proper approach to creating a tutorial project. The practical part contains a specific form of educational project "Photography, and We? for pupils in fifth class at elementary school. The educational project is based on the Frame Educational Program for Elementary Schools, in the area of Arts and Culture in the educational field of Art Education. Project "Photographs and We" consists of seven teaching units. The project itself also shows some recommendations for educational practice.
