The subject of this diploma thesis deals with possibilities of the CAM software PowerMILL 2018 for machining of a component for a firearm. The thesis consists of a research focused on the issue of combined firearms, the specification of the part the thesis deals with and the analysis of the materials used. The practical chapters solve component clamping, tool selection and subsequent elaboration of the NC programs. At the end of the thesis there is shown the simulation of machinig including collison control.

Bachelor thesis dealing with the technological process of a security key to the cylinder lock. In the thesis, there is a brief description of the lock and key history and development. Development is described from the first appearance of the primitive wooden locks to the invention of the modern cylindrical lock. In the technological process there are proposed and calculated basic parameters of manufacturing. Process is elaborated for all steps. From cutting a key blank to final product check. Subject of the thesis is also an attempt to substitute conventional technological process with the modern method of 3D printing.

In the first part is chosen suitable material and semi-product for the production. Following part deals with proposal of the technological procedure of manufacturing and production of the component. The final part is devoted to the comparison and summary of the results.

This diploma thesis deals with the technological process of production of a short reconstruction nail, which is used in fractures of the femoral neck. It is located between the hip joint and the femur. The work deals with the analysis of the problems from the point of view of medicine, developmental stages of the implant, materials used for the production of reconstruction nails and a description of individual technologies of nail production.

Analysis and design of production technology of an ice screw

Glacier climbing starts to be very popular nowdays. Nevertheless it is a very dangerous sport so it requires high quality safety measurements. One of the tools which improves safety for climbers is the ice screw. The aim of this Master's Thesis is the design of the technology for the production of a glacier screw part. Specifically the shaft, which is one of the safety measurements. First part of thesis describes theoretical basics in this area, regarding climbing and its equipment, with a focus on the glacier screw. In the selected company was accomplish an analysis of the current process of glacier screw production. The new technology for the production of the screw shaft was design based on this result. Conclusion summarizes technical and economic evaluation of the improved processed.
