Management of corporate social responsibility in an international environment. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2016. The diploma thesis is composed on the topic Management of corporate social responsibility in an international environment and has as main objective to propose an effective way of managing social responsibility at IBM on five continents. The partial objective is to determine whether the concept of CSR is driven by retrograde, progressive or bi-directionally. The basis for evaluating and designing effective way to control the social responsibility is qualitative research within five continents with managers in selected branches. The diploma thesis concludes that IBM has clearly defined CSR activities, all activities are controlled by retrograde planning (Top-Down) and this control method works effectively across cities, countries and continents. In the recommendation were as suitable way of communicating corporate values and employee involvement in their own creation selected team building activities in the form of corporate volunteering.
