Variability of Natural History in Elementary School in Vysočina Region

This diploma thesis deals with the expected outputs in the school curriculum and the variability of natural history teaching in the Vysočina region. The aim of this work is to find out whether it is processed with the expected outputs and whether the teaching of natural history in the Vysočina region is varied and interesting. The work is divided into two parts, a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, they describe the curriculum document, RVP, school legislation and what is the trend in science education. The practical part is divided into quantitative research and qualitative research. In the practical part, the expected outputs from 82 school education plans are classified according to coding, and model lessons of natural history at five selected schools are also described. In the diploma thesis, information is written about subject plans and curricula, and whether teachers are used. Excursions on which teachers and pupils most often completed several hours of auditions and thanks to these auditions, I was able to see several different teaching methods. Fauna in local texts and in presentations of water management options for regional education at a primary school in Suchdol nad lužncí (South Bohemia)

Fauna of Local Flowing and Stagnant Waters from the Point of View of Regional Natural Science Taught at the Primary School in Suchdol nad Lužnicí (South Bohemia). Bachelor thesis. University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, České Budějovice, 60 p. This work focuses on the use of local waters in teaching natural history at the second level of the Primary School in Suchdol nad Lužnicí. The educational program here allows teachers to create their own school curriculum and include in it the subject matter that is related to their surroundings. The work is focused on textbook analysis, on a quick faunistic survey, and on a route proposal for a teaching in terrain. The results could serve as a material for the route design for a possible natural science walk. At the same time, it provides a brief overview of aquatic animals that are found in local waters around the school.
Diversity of garden fauna: a case study with using issues in school education

This thesis deals with the diversity of invertebrate animals in the common natural environment of gardens. It summarizes the range of natural history books for the 6th grade and frequency of species of invertebrates are shown in tabular summary. There are presented results of fauna survey of the chosen garden, which took place in various aspects of the season. Based on the results of the analysis of textbooks and fauna survey of the project proposal was prepared for the teaching of natural history in elementary school, which can be used as a methodological tool for teachers of natural history.
