Design of algorithms for a continuous steam quality measurement system

This bachelor thesis deals with proposal of algorithm for continuous system of sterilizated steam. At the beginning we deal with the process of sterilization and its methods. Later on we talk over about the saturated steam and parameters of saturated steam. At the end of the bachelors thesis we discuss about current measurement of sterilization steam quality. Then, the procedure of simultaneous measurement of sterilization steam quality is described here. The last part is the evaluation of measured data and presentation of their results.

Diplomová práce se zabývá měřením, analýzou a následným nalezením vhodných fyzikálních parametrů pro analýzu kvality syté sterilizační páry. Tato práce si klade za cíl určit, kritické parametry systému vyvíječe páry pro provoz dle norem ČSN. Dílčí částí projektu je popis fyzikální sterilizace, syté páry, metod a senzorů pro kontrolu sterilizační páry.
Design of Electric Steam Heater

This master’s thesis is focused on the design of electric steam generator for superheated steam. Using heating cartridge is the easiest way how to make a saturated or superheated steam. This device is part of gasification reactor, which is used for experimental purposes. The thesis includes schematic involvement of technology. Technology contains evaporator and superheater. The evaporator is calculated as pool boiling. The superheater is design for steam flowing through heating cartridge bundle. At the end of the thesis are made projection drawings, which are based on the calculations.
Proposal for a new system of continuous quality measurement pairs

This paper deals with proposal of new continual system for quality measurement of sterilization steam. At the begining the process of sterilization is introduced. Then the concept of saturated streams, parameters for sterilization and sensors for measurement are described. Then the current process of measurement of steam quality is described and in the last part the proposal of the new system is introduced. After the draft was the measurement data, analysis and evalution.

The main goal of this master´s thesis is a proposal of double way heat exchanger with integrated air-vapor mixture cooler and compare of heat transfer surface´s materials. Second goals are solidity dimensioning of this heat exchanger and economic effectiveness of used heat transfer surface´s materials.

This thesis summarizes the main cooling methods used in industrial cooling systems. It also discusses the fluids used in cooling, their influence on environment; ozone layer and climate change. The thesis closely describes the properties of ammonia and out of the many cooling methods on the market, it mostly concentrates on ammonia cooling systems. The thesis also discusses heat pumps, vortex tubes, and thermoelectric cooling.

This diploma thesis describes a JSD600 unit intended for mathematical processing, measuring and data recording. The JSD600 unit is highly intended for industrial measuring of water steam energy delivery.First part of the work focuses on basics of the JSD600 unit detailing and describing main structures and principles for relevant data storing.Next part summarizes some basic facts and knowledge from the area of industrial liquid flow, energy measuring and describes water steam states. All these points within this range are needed for dilemma understanding.Last task deals with complete list of communication datagrams, which have been used for communication with JSD600 unit, including a main packet of structure descriptions.The second part of this dissertation brings the unit setup application description including some implementation details of the most interesting parts.
Condensing Steam Turbine

The theme of this thesis is design of single body condensing steam turbine of 50 MW to saturated steam for new nuclear power plant generation. In the thesis is made design and calculation of balancing scheme. On the basis of the calculation is made blades part of turbine. Furthermore, the thesis solves basic strength and structural calculations. The result is drawing of longitudinal cut of the turbine.
Physical properties of steam sterilization

The master’s thesis deals with finding, measurement and evaluation of suitable physical parameters for quality analysis of saturated steam sterilization according to ČSN EN 285 + A2, which is the first step for the replacement of outdated processes of the analysis by modern automation systems. The other part of the project contains description of physical sterilization, saturated steam, methods and sensors for the monitoring of steam sterilization and the measurement and evaluation of these issues.
Design of Steam Generator 13 t/h

Master's thesis focuses on the design of a steam generator that utilizes superheated steam from a woodchip boiler for heating purposes. The steam generator produces saturated steam with variable parameters that depend on operational requirements. The integration of the steam generator into the thermal circuit is also taken into consideration. The primary objective of this thesis is to conduct through thermal calculations for the steam generator and design the inlets and outlets. In addition, a basic process control system has been designed.
