Mapping of the availability of the Occupational Therapy for people with acquired brain damage in Prague and Central Bohemia

As it is evident from the title, the main aim of this thesis is to map the availability of occupational therapy for people with acquired brain damage in Prague and the Central Bohemia region. The first half of the theoretical part focuses on causes, incidence and consequence of acquired brain damage. The other half deals with occupational therapy within this target group with a particular focus on methods of obtaining information (interview, observation, questionnaires) and standardized tests. The last chapter points out the situation of people with acquired brain damage in the Czech Republic. On one hand, the chapter describes the ideal course of rehabilitation and the common course of rehabilitation in the Czech Republic on the other. Another part of the thesis focuses on the research based on questionnaire survey among occupational therapists working with people after acquired brain damage. The next aim of the research was to determine the availability of individual components - local, time, financial and qualitative.
