Design of Driveline Placement System Units in Special Purpose Vehicle

This thesis is concerned with designing a powertrain mounting solution for high mobility off-road vehicle. It is created in collaboration with company Advanced Design Solution spol. s.r.o. The focus is to present a design process of a specific frame structure that supports the powertrain and isolates its vibrations. Majority of the thesis describes the use of finite element methods to assess static and cyclic loading of a welded structure. It also refers about selecting the correct vibration dumpers and covers manufacturing of the part.

The aim of this master thesis is to design a support frame for electron microscope made from sheet metal semi-finished products. Knowledge of 3D modeling software, finite element method software and knowledge of mechanical design and technology are used in this thesis. The result of this thesis is 3D model of final assembly and drawing documentation of selected components.
