Ski Resort Monínec and its Importance for the Development of a Tourism Destination

Ski resort Monínec is located in the southern part of Středočeský kraj near Sedlec-Prčice city in the area called Toulava. The purpose of this thesis is based on demand and supply of ski resort Monínec in summer and winter tourist season to evaluate its importance for the development of a tourism destination and to place it into cooperative structures in the destination.

The Tourism Development in the Tourist Area of Český les

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to present the turist area of Český les as a competitive tourist area with a specific potential for the tourism development. The bachelor thesis is divided into four individual chapters. The first chapter consists of the general terms of tourism, which are related to the topic of the bachelor thesis. The second chapter specifies the geographic, natural and economic characteristics of the tourist area. The third chapter deals with the analysis of the supply and the demand in tourism in the tourist area of Český les, one part also focuses on the questionnaire survey, which was made among the visitors of the tourist area. The SWOT analysis sums up the current state of tourism in the tourist area of Český les. The final fourth chapter includes the proposals and opportunities of the tourism development, which are mostly based on the findings from the previous chapters.

Tourism in the Pardubický Region

Bachelor thesis deals with the appraisal of tourism in the Pardubický Region. This region belongs to the least visited regions in the Czech Republic for many years, although there are many tourist attractivities in this area. In this thesis the causes of this situation will be analyzed. The Tourism Industry in the Pardubický Region will be analyzed from two points of view: supply-side and demand-side in tourism. Finally the findings will be compiled in the SWOT analysis and the possibilities of further tourism development in this region will be suggested as well.
