Design of the steel structure in building for climbing wall and its facilities
Koiš, Matej ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Bukovská, Pavla (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design, assessment and creation of structural model of steel load-bearing structures of roofing and climbing wall in the building of university climbing centre situated in Pardubice, while applying BIM principles. During processing the thesis, it was necessary to cooperate with students of other professions, who were part of the shared bachelor thesis. The building of climbing centre has four aboveground floors and one underground floor and is divided into two parts – hall with the climbing wall and hinterland. Steel roof structure has 12° incline and functions separately above both parts of the building. The structure is composed of steel roof beams of I sections and on the part above the hall it was necessary to add the stabilization reinforcement. The construction is anchored to the concrete periphery and inner load-bearing walls with the anchoring bolts. In the part of the roof above the hinterland, there is an entrance to the terrace and so a steel lintel must have been added. The roof structure in this part is connected to this lintel with screws. Climbing wall situated in hall is 16 m high and is made of two climbing profiles and contains hollow square and circular sections complemented with log rods. Climbing wall is anchored to the concrete slab by chemical anchors.
Agricultural Building
Németh, Matěj ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design and assess of steel structure primarily use for deposit of agricultural machinery alternatively used as associated storage space. Location of object is situated in village of Uhřínovice near Voděrady. Fundamental dimensions of the floor plan are 18 × 48 meters with the height in the top of the gable roof 7,5 meters. The transversal bond is two-hinged frame with span of 18 meters. Height of the columns is 5,2 meters. The main frames are orderly placed with 6 meters space in between them. Cladding is made from multi-layered composite panel system made by Kingspan. Spatial rigidity of the structure in transversal way is supported by main frames and in the longitudinal way is being supported by sway bracing. Used material is construction steel S235.
Outbuilding to sport hall
Matějková, Pavla ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Barnat, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis contains a design of steel structure of a outbuilding to sport hall placed in the city of Lanškroun. The ground dimensions are 36.0×20.0 m, the height of the ridge is 10,0 m, the roof if arched. Inside the building there is a built-in structure with a 18.0 x 20.0 m ground dimension. The ceiling structure is designed as a composite steel and concrete structure with a trapezoidal sheet, mounted on a system of primary and secundary beams that are vertically mounted on pin-suported beam. A structural material of construction is steel S235 grade.
The Sport Hall in Prostějov
Houška, Daniel ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The goal of the submitted thesis is a design and assessment of a steel load-bearing structure of a multipurpose sports hall situated in Prostějov. The floor plan measurements of the object are 38x54 m with the maximum ceiling height of 9,5 m. Final design variant was chosen on the basis of two preliminary drafts, both processed according to standard ČSN EN. The structure is designed with respect to ultimate and serviceability limit states. The construction consists of 10 cross-links spaced by 6,0 m. The spatial rigidity of the structure’s main load-bearing system is provided by spatial elliptic trussed girders, longitudinal and sway bracings. Roof cladding is carried by purlins placed on trusses. Steel columns are designed as a part of gable walls. The project was carried out in Scia Engineer 2014 software. Some particular elements were subsequently assessed by means of manual calculation. The thesis also includes assessment of joints, construction details and drawing documentation.
Motor show
Kopal, Marek ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
By submitting my thesis I designed three variants of the steel construction of the motor show. The ground dimensions of the entire structure are 56 x 40 m. The building eaches a height of 21 m above the surrounding terrain. The object is the administrative part of the rectangular ground plan and the exhibition space of the perimeter ground plan. The circular part is a covered dome. Variants differ in design of the radial arc cross section in the dome cover. Part of the main structural elements. The winning variant includes a solution of selected details elaboration of detailed drawings of solved connections and creation of workshop documentation of the selected work.
The roof structure of the sport hall in Vsetín
Chloupek, Adam ; Bajer, Miroslav (referee) ; Šmak, Milan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of the roof load-bearing structure of the multifunctional sports hall in Vsetín, Zlín region. The structure was designed for dimensions of 76x35 metres. The aim of the work is to design and compare both designed alternatives made of timber and steel.
Shopping gallery
Richtrová, Pavla ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this theis was to design of load-carrying steel structure of shopping mall in two variations. Geometric proposal and examination of structural element was made for both of variations. Then one variant was selected for detailed elaboration of details and drawings.
Rail bridge over river Váh between Nemšová and Trenčianska Teplá
Lezová, Lívia ; Horáček, Martin (referee) ; Pešek, Ondřej (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on the design of a new steel structure of a single-track railway bridge with bottom bridge deck. The solved bridge construction is located on line No. 123 between Nemšová and Trenčianska Teplá at the point, where the line crosses over the river Váh. The existing bridge on the line has a span of 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 m. The assignment was processed in five variants of a steel bridge structure with a bottom orthotropic deck. Each variant has a different static system, a different number of fields and a different type of superstructure. The comparison of variants was performed using multicriterial evaluation based on selected criteria. The most suitable variant was elaborated in more detail. The calculations were performed according to valid ČSN EN standards.
Ice Stadium
Németh, Matěj ; Karmazínová, Marcela (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design and assess two variants of steel structure thought as multifunctional ice stadium primarily used as ice hockey ring. Structure is situated in city of Hradec Králové, specifically in the district of Malšovice. Fundamental dimensions of the floor plan of the main structure are 80 × 54 metres, and the dimensions of secondary hall serving as a main entrance are 25 × 7,9 metres. Height of main structure in the top of the cylindrical roof is 18,4 metres. The transverse connections of the main hall consist of transverse double-articulated frames made of trusswork. Cladding is made from multilayer composite panel system made by Kingspan. Spatial rigidity of the structure in transversal way is supported by main frames and in the longitudinal direction is supported by a pair of transverse wind bracings. Used material is construction steel S235.
