Renovation of the castle in Velké Němčice

This bachelor thesis deals with the restoration of a castle in Velké Němčice. The thesis builds on an architectural study carried out in the AG033 course of the Restoration of Monuments Studio. The task of the thesis is to create a complete project for the appropriate restoration and reconstruction of the castle and to propose its new utilization. At the same time, the thesis focuses on the solution of the castle's immediate surroundings. The object of the solution will be designed as a socially cultural object with administrative functions. The castle should serve as a new town hall, and in accordance with this, the following rooms will be created in the castle: a ceremonial hall, information center, mayor's office, secretary's office, registry office, accountant's office, archive, library, club room, refreshment facility, and interactive room. To achieve the implementation of the new operation in the castle, the correct restoration of the historical object is necessary. Using surveys and historical sources, I examine the architectural values and construction of the building. I strive to preserve historically significant layers, remove intrusive modern elements, and return the object its original expression. With the help of new technologies, I also strive to preserve the building for future generations. I propose minimum use of modern structures and elements, and therefore mainly focus on proper reconstruction and restoration.

Bachelor thesis „Proposal of Internal Guidelines for a Municipality “ deals with the internal guidelines of the village Brezina and focuses on their updates and creation a new internal guideline. The first part of the thesis contains the theoretical basis of the work, which define the basic concepts of accounting and internal guidelines. The following section involves a brief description of the village Brezina. In the third part of this thesis I propose three internal guidelines of the accounting. These are the guidelines on: The system of process the accounting, Supplies, and on Checkout management.

Evaluation of the Economy of the Selected Town

Bachelor thesis is targeted on the economical situation of the town Hranice,. It evaluates if municipal funding is being used effectively. It defines municipal and some of state authorities. It is explaining problems, which are causing indepthness of Czech municipalities and cities. In conclusion this bachelor work is also targeting to create suggestions which will improve current situation of town Hranice. These suggestions should improve financial situation of the town and also it’s affluence.

The responsiblity and position of the mayor of a municipality in the system of municipal authorities of up to one thousand inhabitants

The aim of this thesis is to elaborate in more detail on the topic of the responsiblity and position of the mayor of a municipality, specifically in the system of municipal authorities of up to one thousand inhabitants, which is closely related to a brief but comprehensive overview of the legal framework and other aspects related to the legal status of municipalities and the definition of their competences, for which a mainly descriptive method is used. Furthermore, a questionnaire survey was conducted for the purpose of this thesis, the full text and evaluation of which forms part of this thesis. The goal of the thesis is to detect the prevalence of pork barrel politics in Plzeňský kraj in the context of the chosen regional grant. This paper consists of different definitions of pork barrel politics from both Czech and international authors. The chosen research program is PSOV PK. Research models consider decision criteria for grant allocation. The thesis includes a description of the model's dataset. The model is specified in methodology. Results are presented quantitatively and graphically. The conclusion contains a critical evaluation and comparison of local and international academic literature.

Mayor as a Black Peter? Case Study of the Moravian-Silesian Region

The bachelor's thesis is a case study that deals with the influence of factors that influence interest in the post of mayor of small municipalities in the Moravian-Silesian Region. This thesis describes Czech local politics, which is very specific due to its large number of small municipalities in the Czech Republic. The local politics of the Czech Republic is extensively researched, thanks to many important authors who have devoted themselves, for example, to local councils, rural municipalities, or the creation of coalitions or parties of representatives. Research usually comes to the conclusion that there is no interest in the post of mayor in small municipalities, yet no work published so far describes the exact reasons that influence this interest. Since this phenomenon of interest has not yet been specifically described, however, the circumstances confirming lack of interest are very specific, this work is based on qualitative research. The aim of the thesis is to find out what affects the mayor's interest in the post of mayor. Gender differences in the creation of social capital of territorial communities in the district Tábor

The presented work deals with the topic of gender differences in the creation of social capital of territorial communities in the Tábor district. The main goal of the research is the analysis and evaluation of the process of social capital formation with a focus on gender differences among actors of the local political elite in the Tábor district. The assumption of differences during the formation of social capital of actors from the perspective of gender is based on a review and discussion of general starting points. The main concepts addressed in the first part of the work are the concept of gender itself and its formation during life, the related gender stereotypes in society, social capital and its formation, forms, or measurement. Last but not least, the work deals with the discussion of women's political participation in the Czechia. In the empirical part of the work, I will first focus on achieving the partial goal of the work, namely the analysis and evaluation of women's representation in municipal politics in the Tábor district, emphasizing the explanation of conditions that are crucial for women's entry into municipal politics. Municipal self-government in the Czech Republic (illustrated on the example of Kralupy nad Vltavou City)

The main goal of this thesis named Municipal self-government in the Czech Republic (illustrated on the example of Kralupy nad Vltavou City) is to process and summarize the framework of municipal function in both theoretical and practical way. Also, it is shown how to use the knowledge for didactic purposes. Therefore the thesis is divided into the theoretical, practical and didactic part. The theory answers the questions such as What is self-government? By whom is it executed and where? How is it controlled? The practical part continuously uses collected information and shows how each of self-government aspects works in concrete example of Kralupy nad Vltavou City. The third part is focused on how to apply this issue in teacher training.

Title: The History of the Sokol Club I. Smíchov Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with history of Sokol Club I. Smíchov since its establishment till year 1940. The aim of this thesis is not only to describe its history and activities but also shortly give account of Sokol Club. The part of thesis attends to history of the town of Smíchov which is definitely connected with Sokol Club Smíchov. The thesis called "The history of the Sokol Club I. Smíchov" is based on research on historical sources and literature. Mostly I insisted on archival documents from The National Museum, The Collection of Physical Education and Sport and on archival documents of Sokol Club I. Smíchov. From literature I used publications about history of the town of Smíchov and about history and persons of consequence of the Sokol Club. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part is divided into an introduction and an analysis of archival documents, literature and working methods. Next part describes the history of the town of Smíchov, the history of the Sokol Club and biographies of Miroslav Tyrš and Jindřich Fügner, too. There is also described the history of Sokol Club I.
