Reaction of starch processing potatoes on application of Lyckeby concentrate fertilizer
DOUBEK, Martin
Lyckeby concentrate is a new organic fertilizer made from waste tuber juice in the production of potato starch. The aim of the diploma thesis was to evaluate the effect of this fertilizer on selected varieties of starch potatoes. Two varieties Euroresa and Eurostarch were monitored, which are the most cultivated in the company Agrospol, Malý Bor a.s. The fertilizer was applied in two variants. The first variant was fertilized 2 t.ha-1 before planting and the second variant had a dose of 4 t.ha-1 before planting. It included an unfertilized control plot. In the experiment, the yield of tubers and starch, the starch content, the average weight of tubers, the average number of tubers and stems per tuft and the nitrogen content were evaluated. In the monitored experiment, both fertilization variants showed an increased yield of tubers and an increased yield of starch. The increase in tuber yield was influenced by the average increase in tuber weight and number. The Euroresa variety showed an increase in starch yield per hectare of 6.53% compared to the control. The Eurostarch variety had an increase in starch yield per hectare of up to 23.74% compared to the control.
Starch and protein yield in potatoes for starch production
MIČKA, Michal
The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the starch and protien content in selected potato variarients in relation to nitrogen fertilization. The literature review is a general introduction to the given problem. In the year 2018, a one-year field trial was established where three starch yield varieties Anatori, Hermes a Ornella were observed. Nitrogen fertilizer was applied in two variants. The first variant was fertilized in the spring before planting with a dose of 73 kg N/ha, the second with a dose of 111 kg N/ha.In the experiment, tuber yield, average tuber weight, starch content, starch yield, dry matter content, and crude protein yield were evaluated. In the monitored year of 2018, which had above-average temperatures and on the contrary lowerprecipitation, the best evaluation was the application of higher nitrogen fertilizerswitha dose of 111 kg N/ha. Higher application of nitrogen fertilizers compared to lower dose increased potato tuber yield (t/ha), starch (%) and starch yield (t/ha).
Meaning rock removal in the cultivation of potatoes for starch
PACNER, Jaroslav
Diploma work was performed on a total of six lots in Vysočina County, where he measured the effect of the separation, the effect of weather and temperatures, and comparing technologies casing Rock removal of soil and techniques of planting and harvesting on quality, yield potato starch content and yield and mechanical damage of potato tubers. The aim of the thesis was to evaluate the effect of casing Rock removal of the content and starch yield and mechanical damage of potato tubers. Were evaluated three varieties of potatoes destined for processing into starch. Ornella varieties, Susan and Eurostarch. All three varieties were investigated on land záhonovým odkameněním without Rock removal. In the reporting year for all three varieties to odkameněných land has been greater yield of starch and up 2% and damage decreased by 20%. In parallel, it was found that the difference in tuber yield per hectare of the land is záhonovým odkameněním and land without casing Rock removal were influenced by variety.
Comparison of GM hybrid maize MON 810 with hybrids selected
POSPÍCHAL, Miroslav
The aim of the thesis was to evaluate and to compare the rate of corn borer and the production capability of 4 hybrids of corn (Zeamays L.) of different earliness. For the comparison a variety test was layed out in the land of my father in Klimětice (Central Bohemia). Before the harvest a sampling for detection of dry matter content in the biomass has been made to determinate the date of harvest. The number of samplings depended on the attainment of required dry matter content in the biomass. By the harvest the yield and dry matter content of the biomass, yield and percentage of corn ears, dry matter yield and the starch yield were determined. In the experiments the differences in infestation of corn borer were determined. Further differences in observed parameters were found out, which were dependent on the different utility trends and earliness of the given hybrids. The result was the appreciation of the given hybrids and determining of their suitability for their growing in conditions of my fathers lands.
