Stochastic Optimization Models in Energy Industry
Studený, Vojtěch ; Cabalka, Matouš (referee) ; Popela, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis addresses the modeling of electricity production from rooftop photovoltaic power plants. The aim of the work was to find out how the input parameters affect the return and to find out the optimal conditions for achieving the shortest return time. The model is created in Microsoft Excel and GAMS. The inputs include the current conditions of the New Green Savings grant program. The work separately examines systems without energy storage and systems with batteries. Both systems are optimized and then the change in return depending on random variables is determined. The results show a lower payback period for battery systems, while meeting the subsidy conditions at the same time with lower acquisition costs.
Comparison Potential Production of Electric Energy by Photovoltaic Sources for Municipalities with Population up to 3 000
Plaček, Martin ; Radil, Lukáš (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is to inform the reader of upcoming trends in solar roof panels, and their usage in cities with less than 3000 inhabitants. This thesis also contains a list of selected photovoltaic tiles and panels and their parameters. Included is also a list of several free solar calculators, with one examplary processed house. The practical part includes three selected cities where the photovoltaic potential was evaluated by the method that was derived from norm ČSN EN 15316-4-3, and the overview of this data.
