The influence of urban greenery on the quality of the environment
Prokš, Dominik ; Zlámalová Gargošová, Helena (referee) ; Doležalová Weissmannová, Helena (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the impact of urban green space on the quality of the environment. As the first topic the concept of urbanization appears and closely related to this is what the city as such represents for society. Furthermore, much attention is already paid to urban green spaces and their functions and effects on the urban environment. Public greenery has an impact on air and climate functions, as well as on rainwater management, preventing the spread of noise, trapping dust and, finally, greenery has a positive effect on the psyche of the inhabitants. Furthermore, the maintenance and care of plants and grassland is addressed. In the practical part, is discussed the concept of management and form of public urban greenery in the territory of the Statutory City of Brno, where, among other things, are described the assigned individual managers of urban greenery in the territory of the city and their duties and problems associated with maintenance. The function of the geological and informative system called GIS is also presented, which is an application for the administrators and the public for a clear orientation in the city and its environment. The last chapter is devoted to the measurement of pollutant concentrations in Brno's air.
Influence of manufacturing process and precision on quality of liquid atomization from pressure-swirl atomizers
Lebeda, Kryštof ; Cejpek, Ondřej (referee) ; Malý, Milan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the effects of manufacturing inaccuracies and manufacturing method on the spray quality of pressure-swirl atomizers. First, basic principles of atomization are outlined. In the next section, observed atomization parameters of pressure swirl atomizers are discussed. This is followed by a research of available studies investigating influence of inaccuracies and manufacturing methods on selected parameters. In the practical part evaluation of measured data of pressure-swirl atomizers with defects at discharge orifice, different surface roughness and atomizers made by 3D printing was carried out. Skewness and misalignment of discharge orifice significantly reduced spray quality. No effect of surface roughness for conventionally manufactured nozzles was found. The use of 3D printing for nozzle production resulted in a deterioration of atomization fineness. Chamfering of dicharge orifice promoted larger spray cone angle but did not affect the atomization fineness.
Design of Self-Propelled Sprayer
Sovják, Richard ; Paliatka, Peter (referee) ; Zvonek, Miroslav (advisor)
The main aim of this master's thesis is innovative approach to design of self propelled sprayer with technical, esthetic, ergonomic and economic demands. The final design with it's modern and functional look should be an attractive element of agrotechnics. Another aim is also to fulfill social and psychological functions and address the public about protection of cultivated crops with emphasis on alternative energy and other uses of agricultural machinery.
Design of polymer coating sprayer
Meluzín, Ondřej ; Repka, Martin (referee) ; Šperka, Petr (advisor)
This master’s thesis is aimed on design of polymer coating machine that sprays polymer sliding coatings onto surfaces of crankshaft journal bearings used in car engines. At the beginning of this master’s thesis, basic overview of crankshaft bearings design and materials that are used for sliding coatings is given. Then suitable manufacturing technologies for different materials of coatings are described. After describing basic principles of coating technologies and how crankshaft bearings work, main components used for design of the spraying machine are introduced. Three prototypes of the machine are created in virtual environment to verify ergonomics of control and to fulfill safety requirements. In main part of the thesis, description of all parts and subassemblies, such as frame, spraying circuit, pneumatic regulators and safety features is given. Also functions of all parts of the machine are explained in details. Moreover system for handling and manipulation with coated bearings during all necessary technological operations was created. In addition functionality of the machine was verified and checked by spraying of polymer coating on testing samples and crankshaft bearings.
Otestování vlivu termínu aplikace růstových stimulátorů na efektivitu obrany dřevin vůči hemiparazitické rostlině jmelí bílé Viscum album L.
Javorský, David
This thesis focuses on finding the appropriate timing for the use of chemical defences to eradicate white mistletoe (Viscum album L.) using growth regulators designed for plant protection. The thesis is divided into two main parts, namely, the literature review related to the problem addressed and the practical implementation of the research. In the research, two growth regulators were applied in a regular interval of fourteen days between November and March. The results of this work, the showed effectiveness of the application of growth regulators used for mistletoe eradication in February. The efficacy of the two chemical agents used is different 73 % and 92 % over the entire period under study.
