Perception of private labels by Czech customers

This thesis analyses perception and knowledge of Tesco private labels by Czech customer in age of 18 to 29 years. The main method of data collection was an online questionnaire survey. The thesis begins by introducing the term of private label. Further on it offers information about origin and history of transnational company Tesco and activity of this chain store in Czech Republic. The thesis also acquaints which private labels Tesco sells in Czech market. The final practical part contains results of questionnaire survey and proposes possible changes of improving the perception and knowledge of Tesco private labels among Czech people.
Analysis of TESCO shop formats on the Czech market

Main goal of this thesis is to compare different shop formats of Tesco store chain, analyze their advantages and disadvantages and compare them with each other. At the same time the thesis tells you what individual shop formats offer. It also explains what features individual formats have in common and what features are different. This thesis is divided into three main chapters. The first chapter explains the meaning of basis terms that are crucial for the work. The second chapter focuses on familiarization with Tesco company - with its history, activities and also with the theoretical definition of variuos formats. The third chapter is an analysis of the given formats based on my subjective opinion.
Oganisational culture in retailing company in the Czech Republic

The thesis concentrates on the organisational culture of the company Tesco in the Czech Republic. Organisational culture relates to national culture. Therefore the first part addresses the culural differences between parent-british and czech culture. National cultures are described by means of dimensions. There is also included a dynamic point of view on the culture, that talks about how culture evolves and changes. The practical part analyses the web page of the company and qualitative data gathered during research. The thesis conludes that the extent to which the employees identify with the company values depends on their position in the company. There are differences between managers, heads of departments and frontline employees.
