Modelling of data transfer over LV and HV power lines
Feit, Kamil ; Koutný, Martin (referee) ; Mišurec, Jiří (advisor)
In this thesis work I am attending to matter of interference in transmissions by Power Line Communication. The goal of this thesis is to determine the impact of interference on the signal, which transmits data. This is achieved by implementing an interfering signal to the power line with the generator. There will also be an analysis of a way how to implement interference to the power line. After the implementation of interference I will monitor the impact of interference on the ongoing data transfer between the modems. At the end of this thesis is dissected the impact of interference in the transmission of data, with depicted transferred signal. Next is shown how the transferred signal affects communication between the modems and what happens when the interference
Presentation of selected themes of BSIS in PPT-environment
Havlín, Radomil ; Šebesta, Vladimír (referee) ; Sigmund, Milan (advisor)
The bachelors thesis occupy by topics of the course BSIS, which can be presented by the multimedia and animation techniques in the presentation. In the introduction, these topics are given a different method of processing. In most cases, provides a modular solution by demonstration and argued spectrum signal. The chapters describe the operation with one, two signals at the time, the properties of Fourier transform with illustrative demonstration, the correlation with convolution, kvaziperiodické signals and the last chapter the spectrum of selective signals.
Simulator of partial discharge signal in the UHF band
Škoda, Martin ; Kasárník,, Milan (referee) ; Drexler, Petr (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the problem of the origin and expression of partial discharges in dielectric materials. In the thesis the theoretical foundations, types and parameters of partial discharges are described. In particular, it deals with UHF (ultra high freqeuncy) electromagnetic radiation using UHF method of partial discharge detection. It also deals with the partial discharge UHF signal simulation. The development of UHF sensor systems for partial discharges requires a dive that can simulate them as accurately as possible. Furthermore, a workplace was designed for simulation and detection of partial discharges and processing of their time and frequency characteristics.
Signal generator for analog measurement approach
Gottwald, Petr ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Fujcik, Lukáš (advisor)
The purpose of this bachelor thesis is the design of Xilinx XC3S200A FPGA-based, digital function generator for generating of sine waves, triangular waves and rectangular waves for evaluation of analog circuit characteristics. In the theoretical section of the thesis, basics of spectral analysis, digital-to-analog conversion and three most often used methods for digital signal synthesis (DDS, PWM, sigma-delta) are discussed. In the practical section of the thesis, DDS generator blocks are designed and described in VHDL language. The generator is intended to be fully controllable from PC computer via USB interface. PC control application was also designed. Analog circuits needed for output signal conditioning were designed and simulated. Simulation results are compared with measurement results in the final section of this thesis.
