The interaction of vehicles and road restraint systems
Rozbroj, Lukáš ; Němec, Ivan (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
In this thesis I learned to work with the program LS-DYNA. The result of the calculation of the deformation of the concrete barrier, which involved replacing the vehicle at speeds of 80 km / h, 100 km / h and 120 km / h at an angle of 15 ° and 30 °. Calculations were performed and evaluation of important variables.
Design and verification of training sprinter
TŮMA, Pavel
The goal of the diploma thesis is the design of a training program for sprinters and verification of the training by physical metrics. Experiment is method, which was used in this work. The experimental and testing period lasted from February to June 2013. In the theoretical part, we present the history of sprinting, the various sprinting disciplines, the means of energy supply for sprinting performance and training for the various disciplines. In the practical part, we deal with development of the training plan and evaluation of this plan. Analysis of the results then confirms the hypothesis. There have been improvements in tests of speed, power, reflexes and endurance following the training program. Training plan was successfully authenticated.
Comparing motional abilities of Czech streethockey extraleague players
GÄRTNER, Tomáš
The aim of this bachelor?s theses is to find out the level of motional abilities of the Czech streethockey extraleague players with the help of the standardized tests. The testing battery contains two tests for speed and two tests for endurance. All players are to pass the tests in the end of summer preparation when they can show the highest level of performance. All trainers will get a special form where they will have to pud down all data necessary for the bachelor?s theses. All information will be processed and compared. In the end the work will confirm or disprove predetermined hypotheses.
Radar speed meter used in the Czech Republic
THIERBACH, Petr
Bachelor thesis "Radar speed meter used in the Czech Republic" deals with measurement of the speed in the infrastructure in the Czech Republic. First, the history of speed measurement is described. The following chapters describe the physical phenomena that allows measurement as well as phenomenon that must be eliminated. The next chapter is focused on the accuracy of meters in the dependence on meeting basic conditions for determination of measurement station and connected unfavourable influence. In the work two of most used types of apparatuses are described (AD9 C from the company RAMET C.H.M. a.s, Česká republika a UltraLyte 100LR from the company Laser Technology, Inc. USA) - they differ with each other, especially in the used technology and some components.
Accident frequency and its social effects
VLÁSEK, Vladislav
The thesis ``Accident frequency and its social effects{\crqq} focuses on traffic accidents caused by trespassing the law of speed limit and on social effects induced by accident frequency. Every year approximately one thousand people die on the Czech roads, other thousands of traffic accident victims face lifelong injury consequences. Apart from direct loss of lives, health and property, the traffic accidents carry a lot of other hardly denumerable costs starting at financing trip of ambulance, continuing with health care service expenses followed by convalescence, eventually social benefits for disabled and impacts on relatives of traffic accident victims. The aim of this work is to map the situation of serious traffic accidents where participants are seriously injured, or die and to infer the most serious social effects of these traffic accidents. To gather information in order to meet the objective of this hypothesis and to prove it a quantity research has been carried out. Secondary analysis of data from the records of Police of Czech Republic and the Ministry of the Interior has been chosen as a method to help verify the correctness of presumed hypothesis. In order to map the most serious social impacts, dialogs with randomly selected traffic accident participants who suffered lifelong consequences of their injuries were performed. The primary file contains participants of traffic accidents that happened in the Czech Republic and are registered in the registry of Police of Czech Republic in the period 2003-2006 and where the participants died, were seriously or lightly injured. Our hypothesis proven, that the most serious consequences of traffic accidents happen due to exceeding the speed limits . Also the most serious social impacts of traffic accidents were mapped.

Detection of the level special locomotive performance in volleyball players\\
HORÁK, Petr
Subject of this study was to find out differences in special locomotive abilities of junior female volleyball players (category older primary school). Observed values were compared within tested groups, statistically evaluated and presented in form of tables and graphs. We aimed to compare level locomotive performance between players of second league and best players of first junior volleyball league.Testing samples comprised of players of VSK Slávia PF České Budějovice and the junior league All-star teams. Both teams were tested with use of three special locomotive tests for strength, velocity and maneuverability. I also conducted basic anthropometric measurements of stature and flesh, from which I have computed the Body Mass Index. \\
Nd:YAG pulsed laser cutting of metals
Chmelíčková, Hana ; Polák, Marek
Pulsed Nd:YAG laser KLS 246-102 with average power 150W was developed for cutting, drilling and welding of metal and non-metal materials with thickness up to 2 mm. We chose an usually used kind of metal, steel (class 11) to test the optimal cutting conditions on various thickness from 0.1 to 1 mm.
Broadband Internet connection in the Czech Republic and in selected countries (EU and non EU)
Nemejovský, Michal ; Toman, Prokop (advisor) ; Kalina, Jaroslav (referee)
The purpose of this work is to provide a view of the situation in high speed Internet connection in the Czech Republic in comparison with the situation in other countries. At the beginning we present connection possibilities and actual supply of these services in the Czech Republic. This is followed by a comparison of the Internet connection supply in the Czech Republic with available supplies in two other selected countries. One country is a member state of the European Union -- Austria, and the other country is a state located outside the EU -- Canada. This study does not only compare technological aspects, but takes into consideration the economic situation of individual countries as well. Comparative criteria are described in detail in the corresponding chapter. Finally, there is an evaluation of the results and a reflection on possible future developments.
Základní principy v modelování dopravních toků
Šimáně, Čestmír ; Fábry, Jan (advisor) ; Kořenář, Václav (referee)
Research workers started to investigate traffic flows already in thirtieth years of twentieth century. But it is true that in these times was minimal the number of vehicles on roads. However, at the end of fifties this number started to increase. So according to this it was necessary to find sophistry tools to their monitoring. More engineers interested in the theory of traffic flow and they started to describe interactions between vehicles through new theories and models. Nowadays, this work continues, because the number of vehicles on roads is still increasing. The aim of this thesis is to make reader understood the basic terms, quantities, approaches and models in theory of traffic flow.
