Costs associated with the capital construction of the ski area

This thesis deals with the analysis and creation of budget indicators for costs associated with capital construction of the ski areas. The first part is aimed at clarifying the basic concepts of this topic, especially capital projects, prices, costs and creating budgets. The second part contains a summary of all permits required for the construction of ski areas. The practical part analyzes the data of realized projects. It also determines the interrelationships of particular construction costs and sets general indicators.

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the analysis and the creation of budget indicators for service lines for family houses. The first part is focused on the explanation of basic terms specific for this subject, especially basic information about service lines for family houses and the valuation methods for service lines. The practical part is focused on the creation of basic database of service lines, such as sewer, water and gas pipes, using my own item budget, and the creation of budget indicators for these constructions. In this part, we can find calculated specific indicators that are related to the unit price per meter of the pipe length. In this thesis, budget (price) indicators of ÚRS CZ a.s. and RTS a.s. companies were utilised and for which the pipes were compared on this level. In the last part, I describe a wider classification of constructions, the creation of average prices for these parts and the comparison with a more detailed database, specifically RYRO database used by ÚRS CZ a.s.

Evaluation of assumptions and performance in triathlon (case study)

Title: Evaluation of assumptions and performance in triathlon (case study) Objectives: The thesis aims at evaluating long-term training process of a top triathlete, a junior triathlon representative of the Czech Republic from 2009 to 2011. The principle objective of the thesis is the evaluation of the achieved results and of long-term development from the training point of view. Methods: We have used qualitative and quantitative methods in our thesis. Both general and specific training indicators have been processed graphically in the Excel program. Performance and prerequisites for triathlon have been evaluated by means of radial diagram. The analysis of training diaries has lead us to searching for links between training, social background and the state of health of the triathlete and to finding out how these factors have influenced her three-year sport period. Results: We have determined the regular rise of the training capacity every year. The SCM tests have discovered both strong and weak points of the triathlete. This diploma thesis includes a financial analysis of company Komerční pojišťovna, a.s. as prepared for the period 2005 - 2010. The aim of the thesis is theoretical and then practical processing of financial analysis of commercial insurance company. The theoretical part describes the different stages and methods of financial analysis. The practical part contains an analysis of the financial situation of the company and its comparison with industry.
