Design of board for solar fotovoltaic cells
Kulhánek, Martin ; Urbanec, Libor (referee) ; Venclík, Jiří (advisor)
The purpose of this dissertation is to discuss the engineering design of the supporting structure for solar photovoltaic panels with a total area of 200 metres square. The supporting structure is intended for implementation as part of a solar power station. The preamble of the dissertation examines photovoltaic power stations, their types, advantages and disadvantages. The focus of the second part is directed toward the project of constructing the supporting structure and it also deals with the tasks of attaching the photovoltaic panels and putting the panel’s supporting structure in place. This section will also propose methods of continuously monitoring both the panel and its support-structure once they have been constructed and brought into operation. The purpose of part three is to perform the calculations concerning the entire structure’s required load-bearing properties through the use of the Final Element Method in the program “ANSYS 11.0”. The conclusion of this dissertation is devoted to the evaluation and economic analysis of the construction.
Grit-off photovoltaic system
Horváth, Martin ; Dolenský, Jan (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The restoring sources of energy and their development brings the question how these sources can be utilized in the best way. Master`s thesis deals with photovoltaic systems. It describes their history line, actual situation and also brings some expectations in the future. There are mentioned some materials and technologies which are used for its manufacture, conditions of using in practice, advantages and disadvantages and finally a real mobile application of photovoltaic which serves for a production of electricity that is saved in the battery.
Electric and heat energy sources
Kosek, Stanislav ; Pitron, Jiří (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with different types of electric power sources in the Czech Republic. It describes power plants located in the Czech Republic and also those which do not have such potential of use in the Czech Republic, but are used much more elsewhere in the world. In the Czech republic approximately one third of power plants are nuclear. They are less harmful to the environment than thermal power plants, because they leave out to their surroundings only water vapour from the cooling towers, while thermal ones leave out various harmful gases despite the effort to reduce them as much as possible. Thermal power plants use mostly fossil fuels such as black or brown coal to generace electricity. Some of them are designed to be able to burn biomass, e.g. wood chips, bark or another wood processing industry waste. Finally, renewable energy sources are depicted in this thesis. They appear to be the cleanest source of electricity, but the problem is that this type of power plants cannot be build anywhere. We can take a wind power plant as an example. It is not effective to build it in a windless place and that is why they are build on a higher located places.
Ecological problems energetics CR
Mahdal, Vlastimil ; Ptáček, Michal (referee) ; Matoušek, Antonín (advisor)
This project presents the current state of power engineering, power resources in the Czech Republic and the impact of power resources on the environment. The first chapter describes the nature of the power engineering of the Czech Republic and the structure of primary energy sources, the next chapter present the current state of electricity, there is also described the structure of instaled capacity, consumption and production of electrical energy. The following section describes the impact of the power stations on the environment and their current status in the Czech Republic. The practical part provides information of calculating emissions using emission factors for power stations of company ČEZ, a.s. and about the storage of nuclear waste. The last chapter is dedicated to reducing carbon dioxide emissions in the European Union and describes measures in the Czech Republic for reducing these emissions.
Solar Panels and Landscape Use Changes in the Czech Republik - Regional Comaparison
FREY, Zdeňka
The work is focused on mapping the location of solar panels (installations) in individual regions in the Czech Republic. It also answers the questions of what percentage of solar panels are located on agricultural land in individual regions, the higher the output of a photovoltaic installation, the more space the photovoltaic installation occupies and who owns them. It further examines the factors affecting the location of solar panels in individual regions in terms of regional, agricultural policy and renewable energy policies. This mapping and analysis of secondary data is based on data obtained from statistics, cadastral office´s real estate maps and geoportal, and mainly data from the Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Industry and Trade and Ministry of the Environment. The information reveals differences in the practical application of regional and agricultural policy on the placement of solar panels in regions. Results point out on connection between landscape use and changes in landscape usage and regional and agricultural policy in each region.
Solární elektrárny Břeclavska a jejich vliv na krajinu a život obyvatel
Gazdíková, Šárka
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the solar power stations located in Břeclav environs, primarily with their influence on landscape and citizens. The influence of a particular solar power station on the territory and the attitude of the citizens of the municipality towards this construction are appraised by the analysis of the cadastre unit of selected municipality, questionnaire survey and SWOT analysis. Further, theoretical part of this thesis describes the renewable sources of energy issue and emphasises the solar energy and related terms.
Zhodnocení efektivnosti investice do solární elektrárny Agrodružstva Blížkovice
Říha, Radek
The bachelor thesis is focused on solar power plants and their development in the Czech Republic. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create variants of the possible continuation of the use of photovoltaic power plant after the end of the purchase price support in the selected company. Especially evaluating the effectiveness of created variants. The bachelor thesis includes causes of solar boom and future continuation of investments in solar industry.
