The development of nonbinary gender identity from the perspective of social cognitive theory

The thesis discusses the development of non-binary gender identity using the framework of social cognitive theory. The thesis has three objectives. Firstly, to understand what gender, gender identity and the binary concept of gender mean for non-binary people. Second, to identify which significant aspects enter into the development of non-binary gender identity and third, to explore how to view non-binary gender identity through the lens of social cognitive theory.The theoretical section focuses on gender socialization, gender and gender identity and the theoretical perspectives that address gender identity development. It then focuses on the development of non-binary gender identity and subfields. The empirical section presents the actual research. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with nine non-binary individuals aged 18-25 years old thematically focused on their subjective experiences of gender identity development. The data were analysed through reflective thematic analysis. Subsequently, the themes of "Existing outside the box", "(In)visibility" and "Such a pet" were established. Self-efficacy of Parents in Relation to Liberty of Upbringing of Preschool Children

The thesis deals with the concept of self-efficacy of Albert Bandura in relation to liberty of upbringing. The aim of the thesis is to find out the relationship connection self-efficacy of parents and liberty of upbringing of their preschool child. The theoretical part focuses on definition of the concept of self-efficacy and its principles. The second part of theoretical thesis deals with upbringing within family with an emphasis on parenting approaches. The empirical part of the thesis focuses on research based on quantitative design. The research group is represented by preschool children from selected kindergartens and their parents.
Self-Efficacy and Work Efficiency

The tagets of this thesis were to test with a chosen organization's staff how much self-efficacy depending of particular tasks affected the quality of fulfilling those tasks, to recommend suitable methods of increasing self-efficacy and to suggest a method of task formulation corresponding to social cognitive theory of man in organization. The research was done at a particular section of fiscal administration. The requisite information was obtained by questionnaire method, the received dates were compiled by the suitable statistical methods. The consequent results allowed to say there was no positive relation betwen self-efficacy during fulfilling particular tasks and the efficiency of the particular section's offices. One of the most important results was that self-efficacy itself did not affect the efficiency of the particular offices. The differences in the efficiency resulted from the managers'work. The thesis includes recommendations resulted from its targets.
