This bachelor thesis aims to characterize the village Rovečné and scrutinize it´s structure in terms of the relations the between members of the community. The location of the village, it´s equipment and historical and demographical development are all discribed. A survey was carried out in the village and several significant residents partiking in the govenance of the village were interviewed. The thesis focuses on the relations in the community and the interrelations of it´s segments that are defined basen on age, hobbies, and the way the people spend their leisure time. Stability in certain areas of the lives of the residents is also explored. The goal is to predict, record and analyze individual aspects of human behaviour within the community. In the concluding part of the thesis, the village is characterized and the community and the relations within it are discussed. Also included is the topic of a small-community family and it´s togetherness. A possible future development of this kind of family is estimated. The results show that Rovečné is a functioning community consisting of microcommunities defined by housing, hobbies and leisure time preferences. Newcomers and visitors do not disrupt the relations within the village and are thus not excluded by the natives from the life in the village. According to the carried out research, the village is a friendly and cohesive community.
Residential suburbanization in Kladno district: change of social environment

Since the second half of the 1990s a residential suburbanization process has occurred in the Czechia. Within the process residents move from cities to municipalities that are located in their outskirts. The general aim of the thesis is to evaluate the social environment in Kladno district which is change just as a consequence of the residential suburbanization process. Within the general aim, the thesis sets out three partial objectives: To characterize the process of residential suburbanization in Kladno district, to evaluate changes in the socio- spatial structure of Kladno district with the main focus on the suburban municipalities, and to evaluate the social environment in the selected suburban municipality in Kladno district. There are quantitative methods used in the work. To accomplish the first and second partial objectives is used the analysis of statistical data from Czech Statistical Office. To accomplish the third partial objective is used a questionnaire survey, which investigate how respondents interact with native and new residents and how they engage in social and political life in Buštěhrad. Annual Fairs

The topic of my thesis is the annual fairs in the Czech Republic with the primary focus on the tradesmen of the traditional craft goods. The thesis is divided in two parts - theoretical and analytical. In the first part, I concentrate on the characteristics of the annual fairs in connection to the research that has been already done on this topic and then I describe a brief historical context of the annual fair.Subsequently, I explicate the methodology of my research. In the research I opted for the method of analysis of documents, the semi- structured interview with the tradesmen of the traditional craft goods and the informal interview. I analyzed 12 websites of annual markets and managed to interview 13 respondents. The second part of my thesis concentrates on the analysis of the respondents' interviews and to the analysis of documents.On the basis of the data analysis I characterized the annual markets based on their traditions, holding period, the availability of the Internet and type organizer. Trendy things in adolescence - prestige and its materialization

The purpose of my thesis is to present possible influence of trendy things to prestige, in the ninth grade of city primary school. The goal of this thesis is to identify the social structure of the students' group, to map the value orientation of the students, to identify their trendy things, and to connect all these findings. The thesis tries to answer the question of the influence of trendy things to the prestige in this students' group, and find out whether in this group of students exists the materialization of prestige. The text is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on pointing out the main aspects of the topic of trendy things, adolescence, materialism and prestige. These topics are analysed in the context of psychology and partly sociology, antropology and education as well. Empirical part, in addition to the description of objectives, methods, research sample and environment, pays particular attention to analysis of its own data of quality-oriented research with the support of several quantitative methods. First, it describes the social hierarchy of students in terms of their degree of influence, popularity and prestige, and identifies their sub-groups.
