ROSENKRANCOVÁ, Alžběta
The aim of my work is to map and evaluate whether there is provided social work at social farms, in which form and at which level it is. In the introduction I present the concept of social agriculture and analyse the outcomes of a questionnaire survey "Typical attributes of a social farm". In the main part I summarise the specifics of the social work at different types of those farms. I asses the target groups, targets and methods of social work with respect to the possibility of integration of handicapped individuals in the rural space at social farms. I deal with the topic of motivation of the disabled employees/clients and the prevention of inappropriate behaviour patterns. Moreover I shed light on the connection between the social focus of the farms with other non-productive functions of agriculture with regard to the permanently sustainable farming and the formation of resilient country communities.
