Surveying Conditions for the Creation of Clusters Making full use of Local Renewable Resources in various Regions
Gecelovská, Jana ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Weger, Jan (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to plot the conditions which influence creation of supplier- consumer relationship (of nets, clusters) focused on usage of renewable sources of energy. Short rotation coppices (SRC) were emphasized. There was processed general issue of countryside evelopment, unemployment trend in agriculture and possibilities of activities diversification in relation with SRC production in theoretical part of my thesis. Research realisation of production significance together with SRC usage in countryside areas awareness was included in the applied part. Obtained knowledge and information were analyzed and evaluated. Output of this thesis can be used to infrom involved subjects and routine utilisation.
Vliv vegetace na tepelnou bilanci a výměnu entropie
Šír, Miloslav ; Weger, J. ; Tesař, Miroslav ; Lichner, Ľ.
The aim of this study is to quantify the synergy between the vegetation cover, solar radiation, air temperature and soil moisture. Heat balance, potential and actual transpiration, and net entropy exchange at three localities under different plant cover was studied in order to determine crucial factors determining phytomass productivity in cold climatic areas of Bohemian Forest. The phytomass productivity can be quantified by the entropy exchange associated with the latent heat flux. Water shortage is a crucial factor determining phytomass productivity in dry and warm seasons in cold climatic conditions of Czech mountains.
Short rotation coppices and water management of landscape
Weger, J. ; Šír, Miloslav ; Syrovátka, O.
Short rotation coppices (SRCs, energy forest) became an accepted method to produce biomass for energy. The positive environmental effects of using biomass as a bio-fuel (e.g. reducing GHG, air pollution) were scientifically proved and these effects are now being used as the main argument in the discussion on whether the establishment of large plantations of SRC should be supported and subsidised. Much less is known about the other non-productive effects (functions) of an SRC on the cultural landscape and agro-ecosystems, which may have also positive effect on quality of the environment.
Business plan of energy plantation
Bydžovský, Matěj ; Srpová, Jitka (advisor) ; Kešner, Martin (referee)
The aim of the dissertation is to create the clear directions for setting up of the business plan and to create also the real business plan of the short rotation energy plantation. The dissertation consists of two main parts. The theoretical part describes the structure of the business plan and the principles for setup, the application part contains the real business plan of the planting short rotation coppices, which could be used both as a decision tool for realization of this project in practice and as the documentation for an application for a bank loan. The business plan mentions the market opportunity, the description of the woody species, the technology of founding, growing and harvesting of the plantation, the financial plan, SWOT analysis and possible risks with suggestions for solutions.
