Placement Optimization of Projector Lens
Bezděk, Matěj ; Važík, Jiří (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the creation of engineering design of holder of projector lens. The thesis is created in cooperation with department of development in Varroc Lighting Systems, s.r.o. Initial part provides a brief description of the development of lighting technology used in car´s headlamps. The following part describes solutions currently used in clamping the lens in holder. The main part of the thesis focuses on the design of holder of projector lens itself. Projector lenses testing provide critical values of cohesive failure of the lens material, which cannot be exceed during the process of lens fitting and its subsequent clamping. In the final part the engineering design is verified and optimized using finite element analysis.
Data logger
Albert, Matej ; Šandera, Josef (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelosr’s thesis is about designing and construction of data logger for laboratory purposes. The goal is to construct such a station with possibility to connect multiple wireless sensors, with ability to measure various data, like temperature, humidity or pressure. The wirelles sensor will be powered by battery. The station will be operated remotely, for example from personal computer.
The symbols gallery in chorus of Prags cathedral
Šafránek, Pavel ; Sojka, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Šmied, Miroslav (referee)
The symbols gallery in chorus of Prags cathedral This thesis expleins about a heraldic decoration under a inner triforium of St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague. This decoration, which began to form from the Renaissance, is veluable but it was offer overlooked. This decoration is set containing 38 provincial symbols. This thesis shows a context between symbols and a decoration of the metropolitan templ. This work is completed by contexts of history and by exploring of style evolution in art history. Arms and Warfare of the Aegean Bronze Age
Roháček, Miloš ; Bouzek, Jan (advisor) ; Pavúk, Peter (referee)
(in English): The aim of this bachelor is a survey of weapons and warfare in the Aegean Bronze Age. The author in each chapter focuses on collecting basic data of weapons and armors from the Bronze Age, and their probable use, including warfare and its significance. The compilation work is based on archaeological evidence collected in the literature and iconographic sources. It is followed by chronological period, focusing on the main locations of that period. In conclusion, the author summarizes the collected knowledge.

The use of simulation models to analyse the production process
Ficová, Pavla ; Kuncová, Martina (advisor) ; Brázdil, Ladislav (referee)
The use of simulation increasingly becomes part of business planning and analysis. Using a computer program a model that faithfully mimics reality can be easily created and used to analyze the situation in the company. In this diploma thesis simulation is used to accurately determine utilization of shields manufacturing machines. Further simulation is used to analyze the entire production process, which begins with the arrival of the material and ends with finished product. The main focus is placed on the practical part, but of course there some theory necessary for a deeper understanding the issue is also mentioned. Editing input information, means experimenting with the data is searching for the optimal utilization of machines, number of shifts and employees. Based on the results of the analysis number of produced shields and production process could be modified. The aim is to determine the current state of utilization and to find the ceiling for possible future expansion of production.
