Increasing Efficiency of Intake Port for SI Engine

The thesis describes design solutions the inlet port of the modern combustion engine. The thesis describes basic properties of the inlet port and the types of flow. It is focused the experimental measure of the real inlet port engine Husaberg. The results of the experimental measure are compared with results of the simulation in software CFD. Moreover, it describes creation of 3D parametric model in software Pro/Engineer based on the real geometry exquired from software ATOS. At the end of the work are compared with results of the simulation origin geometry inlet port with origin inlet valve with different changes shapes of valve.
Optimisation the internal combustion engine intake port

The thesis is focused on optimizing the inlet port of the modern combustion engine. Of describes the preparation of the 3D model in ProEngineer software environment based on real geometry obtained by reverse engineering system and method ATOS CFD simulates the flow of the inlet manifold. At the end of the work are compared with results of computer simulation of the real test of the meter.
Tractor Engines Intake Systems Overview

The main focus of this work is creation of textual and pictorial documentation of equipments used on nowadays tractor engine intake systems. Firstly author is focused on introduction of individual parts of intake system with their detail function description and pictorial documentation. After that the separate intake systems overview is made via world known tractors such as Case IH, Deutz – Fahr, John Deere, Massey Ferguson and New Holland. Every representative of tractor is introduced with its overview and pictures of the most significant parts concerned with inletting of air into the engine. The entire pictures documentation of intake systems overview is made by camera at the place of tractor’s dealer and when this photo documentation was unsatisfactory, the www pages of dealers was used. This bachelor’s thesis should show the progressive development of intake system’s individual equipments. Eventually this thesis can be used to evolve another research projects.

Driving unit is here used four cylinders, water-cooled, atmospheric combustion engine from car VW Polo 6N GTI. Design is created so, to answer condition division 1A.

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na konstrukční návrh sacího potrubí pro vůz Formula Student. Pro pohon vozu je použit jednoválcový atmosférický benzinový motor Husaberg FE 570. Sací potrubí je navrhováno tak, aby bylo v souladu s pravidly Formula Student. Pro zvýšení plnící účinnosti sací potrubí využívá resonančního efektu. Délky sacího potrubí byly spočítány v software Lotus Engine simulation.
