Attitudes Management of large Farms to Produce fast-growing trees
Zelenková, Aneta ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Duchek, Stanislav (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to ascertain the attitudes of management of selected large farms operating in the South Region in the production of fast-growing trees on-the-agricultural land and attitudes to the concept of greening. To fulfill the goals of this thesis were used questionnaires - a structured questionnaire sent by e-mail after prior phone contact. The research covered 18% of cultivated agricultural land throughout the South Region. They were classified according to the jurisdiction of the district. It was found overwhelming preponderance of negative attitudes towards the production of SRC and reasons for this opinion. Production is dedicated to one of the thirty producers. The concept of greening is considered inconsistent. Positive attitude toward greening occupy a particularly company with combined agricultural production, negative attitude then producers od crop production.
Studies resources for local heating in Sezimovo Ústí
Ledvinková, Markéta ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Vetýšková, Lenka (referee)
The theme of bachelor's thesis is " The study of resources for local heating in Sezimovo Ústí." The target of thesis is determinate the present structure of heat sources which are used by inhabitants in the city of Sezimovo Ústí, citizens satisfaction with local heating and air situation which occur with each winter season. In addition, their attitude and awareness of the fast-growing trees and, utimately, their possible interest in the case of an offer to change heating and the factors affecting this decision
Zásady zakládání, pěstování a obnovy porostů rychle rostoucích dřevin
Tomášová, Anna
This thesis deals with petting up, planting and renewal of fast-growing trees for energy use. The paper lists the type sof trees, methods of reproduction and establishment of vegetation, cultivation methods and harvesting operations. Are given non-energy fiction of fast-growing trees but other plants that can use energy.
Vyhodnocení plantáže RRD založené na zemědělské půdě v majetku Lesů města Brna, a.s.
Stuchlý, Ondřej
The work deals with the analysis of production and economic parameters of plantation short rotation coppice LMB in LS Deblín. Production plantation was assessed after 7 and 8 years since its inception through a network of inventory plots and stencil poplar. Surveys to be wood volume (m3) and the total biomass (o.d.t). Plantation economy was measured as the difference between revenues and costs. The survey was also regenerative experiment to assess the influence of the width of the cuts on the growth of poplar saplings. Total volume production of tree plantations for 2012 was set at 46,95 +/-9,7 m3. Total volume production of tree plantations for 2013 was set at 63,41 m3 +/-10,5 m3. Total dry weight biomass for 2012 amounted to 23,31 t/ha ie 3,33 t/ha/year. The following year, the total biomass dry weight was for 8,42 t/ha greater. The average production was also greater, it reached 3,97 o.d.t/ha/year. The total cost of the plantation in the first rotation reached 79 022 CZK. The cost of timber harvesting in 2012 amounted to 7 485 CZK. The total yield of the plantation in 2012 was 72 906 CZK. The profit in 2012 amounted to -6 116 CZK . Total revenue for 2013 amounted to 99 249 CZK. The profit in 2013 amounted to 20 227 CZK. Next experiment shows vigorous sprouting capacity. Wider cuts (3 lines) is generally larger than the cuts closer (2 lines). It was also found that the wider lines is greater proportion of sprouts in the greatest height class (+2 m).
Effective use of phytomass in the protected area of the National Park Podyjí
FORMANOVÁ, Petra
The objective of the thesis is to evaluate the possibility of the effective use of waste and phytomass specifically grown for energy purposes in the protected area of National Park Podyjí. The task was to characterize the source of phytomass in this environmentally sensitive area. The data were collected by studying documents, visits to enterprises and institutions, and personal consultations with business and other stakeholders. The result of this work is a brief assessment of the production potential and the factors influencing its development. Due to the nature of the territory, to suggest measures for efficient use of land for the production of energy phytomass with regard to the attitudes of farmers and the authority of nature and landscape.
Possibility of Increasing the Share of fast-growing trees in the Local Energy selected Municipalities
Pátková, Michaela ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Hora, Petr (referee)
The work on "Options increase the share of fast-growing tree species in selected local energy community" to deal with the question of under what conditions it would be possible to increase the share of fast-growing wood (RRD) in the local community energy Stržanov. In the theoretical part summarizes the particular information about renewable energy and the cultivation of fast growing trees, she is also the issue of ecological stability of the landscape to which RRD production contributes to the business plan. Investigation of the village Stržanov focused primarily on the present structure of resources, fuel and attitudes of the population towards the possible introduction offers fast growing trees grown on agricultural land. The practical part is the calculation of the area of SRC plantations to supply the village Stržanov and their impact on the value of the coefficient of ecological stability (KES).
Possibilities of using fast growing trees in the village Polná
Novák, Lukáš ; Syrovátka, Oldřich (advisor) ; Vetýšková, Lenka (referee)
The topic of my bachelor's thesis is " Possibilities of using fast growing trees in the village Polná." This thesis is focused on the issues regarding fast growing trees (FGT). The target of thesis is to determine the present structure of heat sources which are used by inhabitants in the city of Polná and in local part Hrbov. Another target is to determine the awareness and the attitude of inhabitants to FGW and to find out possible demand for fast growing trees products. Themes as biomass, fast growing trees and marketing research are described in theoretical part.
Communities of epigeic beetles (\kur{Coleoptera}) on the plantations of trees for energetic purposes
ZUKAL, Radim
The aim of the study was to examine communities of epigeic beetles in the plantations of fast-growing trees (poplar clone Japanese J - 105 (Jap = - 105, Max - 4, Maxvier) and surrounding habitats (Zea mays L.). A cover of Zea mays L. was used as an area for comparison. Sampling was carried out in 2012 by using the method of epigeic beetles in pitfall traps (period from May to September). During the sampling, altogether 1054 specimens and 57 species of epigeic beetles were collected. In the area of fast-growing trees ?Na Vrbovecku? 528 specimens were collected which is many times more than in other researched areas. In the cover of Zea mays L. in the area "Na Vrbovecku" 293 specimens were collected and in the zone of fast-growing trees "U rybníka" 233 specimens were catched; notice the high similarity in the number of collected specimens. At all sites surveyed the expansive species (E) outnumbered the II relics. There were about 70% of expansive species in the cover of Japanese poplar found and in the cover of Zea mays L. there were about 90% of expansive species found. The number of more adaptable species- RII category- found in the cover of Japanese poplar was approximately 30% unlike the number of the same species found inside the Zea mays L. cover was only 12%. The rare species Xantholinus gallicus of the RI category was found in the plantations of fast-growing trees "U rybníka". The index of anthropogenic impact on communities (ISD) was very low in studied plots. In the Zea mays L.cover the index was only 6 points, unlike in the cover of Japanese poplar where the index reached 24 points. Yet all researched areas show high anthropogenic impact. Based on the obtained results (epigeic beetles), it seems that plantations of fast-growing trees have a positive impact on communities of epigeic beetles in cultural landscape. Since the research was always carried out on a farmed landscape, the impact of surrounding landscape on gained results is minimal and insignificant.
