Proposal production of a chain wheel with the unconventional methods of machining use
Mikeš, David ; Kubík, Roman (referee) ; Dvořák, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the application of unconventional methods in machining (use of laser and hydro-abrasive beam) during chain wheel production. Firstly, the unconventional methods are divided according to the overwhelming effect of material separation, and then these methods are briefly described. In the second part of the thesis, you can find the technological process of chain wheel production with the usage of cutting operation method, which is followed by the assessment of production costs. Afterwards, the chain wheel is produced with the application of laser and hydro-abrasive beam. The final part of the thesis contains comparison between the unconventional methods and the conventional method of cutting operation. The comparison is based on the achieved structure of surface of the gear tooth, the production time and the economic point of view.
Optimization of the structure and properties of materials for motorcycle parts
Stárek, Jan ; Němec, Karel (referee) ; Juliš, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this study is to review the materials used on selected motorcycle components. The present bachelor thesis concerned with comparison of serial parts and alternative variants for racing. Describes the production of specific components and studying some of their material characteristics. Justifies the potential use of non-traditional manufacturing technologies. Each chapter is dedicated to elements pursued by the use of special attention during operation of motorcycle. The main part of the experimental testing of levers and sprockets from different suppliers. The work is also illustrated by the choice and use of two different materials on one component. The selected components are subjected to material tests.
Growth dynamics of Pectinatella magnifica colonies
PETROUŠOVÁ, Ester
P. magnifica is an invasive freshwater bryozoan species which is native to the North America. The aim of this thesis is to ascertain the pace of the colonies' growth. The survey was carried out in three locations during twenty-one days in July 2018.
Decorative elements of the Gothic architecture
SZKANDEROVÁ, Aneta
The theoretical part will be devoted to the development of individual decorative elements in the European Gothic architecture. The main emphasis will be placed on the Czech territory, especially on the so-called South Bohemian Gothic. From the decorative elements, the work will focus primarily on the window traverses in connection with the practical part of this work. The aim of the practical part is to create a haptic model of a Gothic window with a decorative tracery, which will be primarily intended for persons with visual disabilities. A specific gothic window from the cloister to the parish court of the Dominican monastery and the Church of the Sacrifice of the Mary, mother of Jesus, in České Budějovice will serve as a template. The resulting model will be made from a drawn gypsum profile and will be accompanied by a set of sketches. At the same time, the haptic model will be part of the exhibition "Haptic models for people with disabilities" in the monastery mentioned above.
