Design of portal milling machine
Lasák, Štěpán ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Blecha, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the field of router type (planar) milling machines. The first part of the thesis presents a brief introduction to the described machine and its main constructional parts. After setting the area of the milling machine’s usage, appropriate parameters will be chosen. Elementary constructional are calculated based on these parameters. At last, a drawing of the assembly and a 3D model of the machine are made.
Building and using smaller computer networks
Ďurica, Matej ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
In these days, the widespread creation of home networks, due to the continuous development of computer technology for personal use. These networks are formed, for example, with the aim of facilitating access to information, ease of communication between people and control of various devices in the home. Their development is influenced by trends in information communication technologies in the market. This bachelor thesis is fully focused on the practical implementation of the proposal for extension of the original smaller home network using the new network elements (wireless routers, switches, network printers, NAS server, device for live monitoring of security cameras) and rendering certain network services (DLNA, print server, VPN, iTunes server, live monitoring of security cameras). A given network was tested with respect to performance network and its response, coverage of Wi-Fi signal, testing remote access, power consumption, read and writes speed of the NAS server.
Building and use of small computer networks
Fišer, Marek ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Palovský, Radomír (referee)
The main objective of the thesis is description of the intermediation of internet services by the use of microwave transmission technology. The thesis is divided in three parts. The first part is dedicated to a theoretical description of metallic and wireless networks. The second part focuses on the problematic of microwave transmission. The third, the main part, is dedicated to the description of a specific solution. In this part is metioned the pratical experience, which was gained by the implementation of the solution in to the practice.
Building and use of small computer networks
Koželský, Marek ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
This thesis deals with the construction and use of small computer networks. The first part describes the theory of computer networks. There are mentioned network standards, active and passive components. This part is also given for security. All this information mentioned is used in the second section which is aimed at improving the WiFi signal coverage in a family house and data backup solution for household users.
Building and using small computer networks
Koller, Martin ; Pinkas, Otakar (advisor) ; Šmejkal, Ivo (referee)
This paper is about small home computer networks. It describes history of computer networking and types of computer network's topologies. Another part is dedicated to referent model ISO/OSI and network architecture with using family of protocols TCP/IP. There are also passive and active elements of building computer networks including wireless networks and its security(e.g. cables, connectors, routers, switches etc.). In practical part there is analysis of available hardware equipment. After the analysis there is a design for home network for common family (including description about useful services). In the paper there is also complete realization of this design with all the needed tests to prove functionality. In the end, the paper gives some types, which can be used as improvements current home network. And also there is a little information about business networks.
OpenWrt
MIKEŠ, Petr
Thesis contains basic information about operating system OpenWrt. The first part is devoted to the history and development of this system. The work includes a description of the installation of the selected device and its settings. The thesis also includes comparative tests carried out in comparison with the original operating system router. The reader can decide which system is better suited to its needs.
Creation of router based on Linux
SUDA, Jiří
This thesis describes routers in general and their variants as well as the creation of my own PC issues linux-based router variant. It states pros and cons of this solution in detail. The administration and security are also mentioned.
IPv6 support in smaller Internet service provider.
Pangrác, Vojtěch ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Beneš, Jiří (referee)
This work is aimed at new Internet protocol version 6. This protocol is firstly described generally. Then I have intoduced several common, generally respected IPv6 transition. The last part is oriented on real transition model, which is described on company from Rakovnik. This company figured as local Internet service provider. This solution includes individual phase of transition, opinions and evaluation from my colleagues and also timetable and financial plan. The model, which I think out could be available for most of smaller internet service providers.
Opensource solution for small ISP
Vomáčko, Vít ; Palovský, Radomír (advisor) ; Pavlíček, Luboš (referee)
Focus of this work is to create a comprehensive look at open source solutions to enable small companies to make up their ISP routing infrastructure. Aims to explore the available alternatives for routing software and related services. Then describe the important features and characteristics which are taken from real operation of such a solution and analyze it in parts. Shows how to modify other standard Linux distribution to offer the necessary functionality. Describes the security mechanisms to prevent its further spread of the complexity of the system and degrade its performance. Outlining how to address the monitoring infrastructure as well as running services it provides to customers. It also tries to show which areas are not sufficiently operational and offers suggestions for further work in developing such a solution. Working mainly draws on the experience gained from long-term effort to launch the best solution, but do not tie the hands of its creators and allow colleagues to avoid various failures and shutdowns.
Profesní profil zaměstnance zasílatelské firmy
Géblová, Jana ; Novák, Radek (advisor) ; Načeradský, Petr (referee)
The goal of the dissertation is to describe demands on position of router (both hard and soft skills) and his further education.
