The prevalence of substance abuse in chlidren's homes

Base: The use of addictive substances is still an actual problem as well as primary prevention which should be in the center of focus. Children in orphanage are a group with higher risk due to the absence of strong parental element in their life. They can also suffer from various psychical problems. Aim: The aim of this thesis is to map the misuse of additive substances in children's homes and describe the problems connected to it from the point of view of guardians and how can those problems be solved. Methods: The questionnaire was chosen for the data collection. The answers had been collected for two months and then evaluated by Google Forms and Microsoft Office Word. Two groups were addressed - clients od children's home and one guardian of the same home. Results: The questionnaire proved that most of the children had used the addictive substances, most of them are addicted to at least one and even though the primary prevention is present in those establishments. Conclusions: Clients in children's homes are a group with higher risk and it is necessary to pay special attention to prevention and risk factors. Young people on the labour market in relation to job centres activtiy in Central Bohemia

The main aims of the thesis is to explore the situation and awareness of youth on labour market, to evaluate existing political instruments and to suggest a recommendation for the most effective intrument to makte the situation better. I follow these aims by executing a secondary data analysis, an expert interviews with workers of IPS in Central Bohemia, Regional labour office in Příbram and VÚPSV, furthermore I follow these aims by my own survey within 5 chosen high schools in Central Bohemia. The thesis focuses on exploration of the issue from perspective of future graduates on labour market, as well as the perspective of IPS workers (as the main stakeholder), who actively works with unemployed youth or future graduates on daily basis. According to the research I concluded, that the most effective instrument for the chosen group is consultation, which is provided mainly by the IPS workers. There are various types of consultation in the region and therefore various levels of future graduates awareness. The consultation should by unified in every Central Bohemia region. To make this possible, it is needed to create good working conditions to the IPS workers. Accident insurance on the Czech insurance market

The theme of this thesis is Accident insurance on the Czech insurance market. This thesis is divided into five parts. The first part is dedicated to the characteristics of accident insurance and definitions. First part of the thesis also includes statistical data on injuries. The second part concerns market research and the possibility to sign accident insurance on-line. The third part focuses on specific offers of accident insurance for two selected insurance companies. The fourth part compares model of accident insurance according to the on-line and official calculators of insurance companies. In the fifth part, statistical data show the situation on the Czech insurance market and its progress in recent years. The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the Czech insurance market in the field of accident insurance and to compare the offer of accident insurance between selected insurance companies.

Long-term unemployment as a cause of social exclusion.

This work is dedicated to causes of social exclusion. Theoretical part of the work describes social exclusion and its major reasons such as long term unemployment and poverty. This document is particularly focused on high-risk groups of population who are mostly endangered by some form of social exclusion. It also takes in account potential economical and social aspects of the problem. Second part of this work is based on the real data acquired from the national emplyement agency in Strakonice. It describes situation in the region, methodics of data collection and their further evaluation and analysis. The discussion is a summary of the research and concludes with a summary of the whole work.

Prevention of influenza in persons aged over 65 years and in persons with high-risk medical conditions in the district of Český Krumlov and their attitude toward vaccination.

The topic of my thesis is the issue of prevention of influenza in persons aged 65 years and persons with high-risk medical conditions in the district of Český Krumlov and their attitude toward vaccination. The study is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part a comprehensive knowledge of epidemiology, the cause, treatment and opportunities for the prevention of influenza are mentioned. The practical part is focused on a vaccination coverage survey and opinions on vaccination in people aged over 65 years and persons with high-risk medical conditions in the district of Český Krumlov and analysis of results obtained by the research investigation. The purpose of the study is to analyze the reasons that lead to small vaccination coverage of these groups and to find out how to increase vaccination rates. To obtain the data I used the method of quantitative research by means of anonymous questionnaires. A total of 300 questionnaires were distributed. The final number for data processing was 190 questionnaires. In connection with the study I set out four hypotheses. The hypotheses were confirmed or refuted on the basis of my investigation assessment. The research results have shown that the most frequent reason for non-vaccination is the lack of information the respondents have about influenza disease and influenza vaccination. This implies the fact that the most respondents do not believe in the effects of vaccination, and many people do not perceive influenza as a serious condition. Therefore, through this study I would like to emphasize the importance of information that can help people consider the risk of influenza disease and encourage them to use vaccination.

Unqualified job applicants on the labour market

The thesis is focused on unqualified group of job applicants. The teoretical part describes the labour market and it´s segmentation, the importance of human capital, the risk groups threatened by the long-term unemployment with special attention to the poeple without qualification. Practical part determine, by the questionnaire research, whether the unqualified job applicants are motivated to increasing qualification and whether their expectations are real due to the labour market possibilities.

The Analysis of Accident Insurance on the Czech Insurance Market

The theme of this thesis is "The Analysis of Accident Insurance on the Czech Insurance Market". This thesis is divided into five chapters. In the first chapter, the accident insurance is discussed under the terms of the whole historical context of insurance. In the second and in the third one, the frequency of accidents using statistical data and the position of the accident insurance on the current insurance market are shown. In the fourth chapter, the accident insurance is described overall, an accident and exceptions from insurance connected with it are defined here. Hereafter the kinds of the accident benefits are elaborated in detail and the author also devotes himself to the importance of the accident insurance and its prospects for the future. In the fifth chapter, possibilities of handling accident risks, which are offered by insurance companies in practice, are presented.
