Tools for turning technology
Bayer, Martin ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on current turning tools. The first part of the work is a short history, which summarizes the development of turning technology. The next part is a basic analysis of turning technology. The third part deals with the used turning tools, which are divided according to individual turning applications. The fourth part divides the tool materials that are used for the production of turning tools. The last part deals with Industry 4.0 and the expected vision of turning tools.
Wear analysis of replaceable inserts in parting of structural steels
Drbal, Martin ; Vítek, Jiří (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis deals with the analysis of wear of replaceable cutting inserts in turning technology. For the experiment three variants of replaceable cutting inserts were used, all from the manufacturer Dormer Pramet s.r.o. These cutting inserts were used for the successive lapping of two different materials. These were bearing steel ČSN 14 109 and stainless steel ČSN 17 349. The thesis contains a theoretical part which is devoted to turning technology and wear theory. The experimental part describes the cutting test procedure, measurements and analysis of the data obtained. At the end of this thesis, additional analyses are performed to reveal the reasons for the variability of some results.
