Mobile applications development for remote control of instrumentation
Macek, Michal ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The presented work describes the growing trend of using mobile devices to control laboratory instruments and displaying of measured data. The main objective is the application development for mobile devices, which will allow to remotely control and measure with laboratory instruments. The practical part is focused to programming mobile application which will be able by using the local network to connect multiple laboratory instruments, setting them for different types of measurements and then display measured data.
Use of mobile platforms Android for instruments control
Macek, Michal ; Šteffan, Pavel (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The present work describes current trends and modern methods using mobile devices to operate laboratory equipment and subsequent measurements. The main objective is create application for mobile devices running on Android system, which will be remotely controlled and measured with instruments in the laboratory. Practical activities are focused on programming mobile application that can remotely laboratory device contact, set for different types of measurements supported device and then read the measurement data from the device to a mobile device.
Usage of internet access to laboratory instrumentation
Pešina, Tomáš ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
Content of this work is oriented on usage of remote access over internet to measure on laboratory instruments. Deals with standards of connection measuring devices. Engaged into LXI standard, instalation of necessary accessories of hardware and software and ways which is possible to control measuring devices. Studies principle and benefits of using standard LXI. In practical part of this work is creating material oriented laboratory themes, by help of programme environment VeePro, chosen from themes of bachelor´s study program.
Automatic User Interface Design for Remote Access
Koriťák, Jan ; Láník, Aleš (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis explores the possibilities of abstraction of graphical user interface and automation of its design and development process at runtime. Emphasis is placed on possibility of remote control over computer network and accordingly on delegation of the interface creation on the human operated remote machine. The thesis analyzes contemporary approaches to and methods of interface generation. As a goal of the thesis a system for automatic user interface generation for remote applications was designed and implemented. The generation is based on specified data model.
Web Gateway for Access to Measurement Devices
Zsíros, Anton ; Barabas, Maroš (referee) ; Hanáček, Petr (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with design and implementation of a system that can access remote devices through computer network. Specifically, the serial port devices and audio input devices. The first step of the thesis was to do a survey in the field of similar available, focusing on applications that could be integrated into the final system. For serial port devices, it was necessary to find a solution that would allow redirecting data from the physical device to a computer network and creating virtual serial ports on client systems, through which would users access these devices. To transfer audio streams from audio input devices through computer network was chosen RTP protocol, which is well suited for data transmission in real time. The thesis also contains the description of handling received RTP stream on a client system. The result is a complex system that integrates the functionality of mentioned tools into a single unit.
Web interface for on-line administration of laboratory tasks
Belko, Jakub ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The present work describes the current trends and e-learning methods using the Internet in the educational process on Czech and foreign universities. The main objective is to create a web interface for on-line administrations of laboratory tasks named "Laboratorě UETE". Practical work is focused on programming web applications and modules for management of instrumentation for laboratory protocols administration including implementation of the IP video cameras outputs and sensor atmospheric conditions. An integral part of this work is to create a module for simulation of physical quantities using commercially available software components based on client – server system.
Mobile application for remote server management
Kolář, Jakub ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Rais, Aziz (referee)
Thesis deals with remote servers specifically those for the Minecraft. These servers are divided into groups. The work examines the possibility of remote access to these servers on network protocols level, which are described briefly, and also at the level of the game itself. Describes the game options that can be influenced via remote management. Then analyzes the applications that are intended for this remote access, and identifies problems associated with them. Based on the issues that implied from this analysis, application that solves these problems is designed. The first chapter contains a brief description of the network protocols that can be used to remotely manage servers for the Minecraft and identifies the most appropriate protocol. The next chapter describes the Minecraft, and specifically those of its regions which can be influenced via remote management. The next chapter analyzes the applications that can be used to remotely manage Minecraft servers and based on the problems that this analysis identifies, an application that solves these problems is designed. The designed application is then implemented. The last part contains user documentation of created application.
Modern libraries services in user´s point of view in the Czech Republic
Vitoušek, Ondřej ; Sklenák, Vilém (advisor) ; Bělohoubková, Lenka (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with modern libraries services with which a user can meet in the Czech Republic. User's view characterizes the current state and future development. It describes the services of three specific libraries, assesses it and recommends possible solutions to problems. The last section outlines the barriers of dissemination of digitized documents which prevent the development of a modern user access to them.
VPN networks for remote access
Mirsha, Yevgen ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Kališ, Martin (referee)
General concern of this bachelor's thesis is description and analysis of virtual community networks, which are built to connect households and communities. The main focuses of this paper are several cases that supposed to be solved with help of abovementioned networks, their basic elements and main principles of operation. Short review of available easy-to-use software solutions for home use and comparison of several selected applications from the list of VPN solutions are also provided. The latter, under author's opinion, could help to create virtual community network between a potential user and his friends. The paper deals with TeamViewer, Gbridge and SocialVPN.
