Šťastná, Johana ; Říha, Michal (advisor) ; Hankovcová, Eva (referee)
CASE STUDY OF PHYSIOTHERAPY TREATMENT OF A PATIENT AFTER STROKE Objectives: Theoretical analysis of after stroke management and elaboration of physiotherapy treatment schedule in the form of an after stroke patient case study. Methods: This work was done with patients consent within an uninterrupted practice at Central Military Hospital in Prague at the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The practice was held from 9th January to 3rd February. The work is divided into two main sections - a general (theoretical) and a special. In the general section is researched the theoretical background for status post hemorrhagic stroke. The general section includes basic characteristics of the illness, etiopathogenesis, incidence, diagnostics, treatment and options of physiotherapy methods concerning the illness. The special section contains the after stroke patient's case study, the review of proposed therapy and the therapy effect evaluation. Results: The patient's condition evolved during the treatment. The patient developed better muscular strength and joint movement, the swelling was reduced, right hand side of his body and limbs was strengthened and his overall stability and gait was improved. The improvement was indicated by functional scales tests as well. Keywords: hemorrhagic stroke,...

CASE STUDY OF PHYSIOTHERAPY TREATMENT OF A PATIENT AFTER STROKE Objectives: Theoretical analysis of after stroke anamnesis and elaboration of physiotherapy procedures. Methods: This bachelor thesis was done with the patient's consent within practice at Regional hospital Kladno at the Rehabilitation Department from January 6th to January 31st 2014. The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and special part. The theoretical part includes basic characteristics of the illness, ethiopathogenesis, incidence, diagnostics, treatment and options of physiotherapy methods. The special part contains the after stroke patient's case concept, processes and the effects of his therapy. Results: Patient's condition, daily activities, movements, spatial orientation, muscular strength and physical condition have improved after the therapy. Keywords: Ischemic stroke, rehabilitation after stroke, hemiparesis, spasticity, physiotherapy.

Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after hemorrhagic stroke with right sided hemiparesis Aim: The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to summarize theoretic information about stroke, about possibilities of rehabilitation after stroke and subsequent processing of the case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after hemorrhagic stroke with right sided hemiparesis. Summary: This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of stroke and it is divided into two main parts. The first general part covers theoretical information about the diagnosis. In this section we will find the basic anatomy of the vascular supply of the brain, the classification of strokes, the theoretical knowledge from the point of view of etiopathogenesis and epidemiology, the list of the most important risk factors, the most frequently used diagnostic methods, and ultimately the treatment and rehabilitation of CVA patients. In the second special part is a case study of a patient after hemorrhagic CVA with right sided hemiparesis, with whom I worked in Vršovická zdravotní a.s. from 22. January 2018 till 16. February 2018. Keywords: stroke, hemorrhagic stroke, intracerebral hemorrhage, right sided hemiparesis, post - stroke rehabilitation, physiotherapeutic methods and procedures used in neurology

CASE STUDY OF THE PHYSIOTHERAPY TREATMENT OF A PATIENT AFTER STROKE WITH LEFT HEMIPARESIS Aims: The aim of this thesis was to gain theoretical knowledge about stroke and the development of case study of a patient after ischemic stroke with left hemiparesis. Summary: This bachelor thesis deals with the stroke. The thesis consists of two parts. In the general section is described the definition of stroke, anatomy of the blood supply of the brain and classification of the stroke, its methods of diagnostic and treatment. The following chapters solve the comprehensive rehabilitative care for patients after stroke, including a description of special appropriate physiotherapy techniques. The special part is about a case study of the physiotherapy care of the patient after stroke with left hemiparesis. This part contains a complete kinesiology analysis, course of treatment and final evaluation. Data for processing the special part were obtained in the term 5. 1. - 5. 2. 2015 during the clinical practise in Vršovická zdravotní a.s. under supervision of Mgr. Tomáš Hrdý. Keywords: ischemic stroke, rehabilitation after stroke, left hemiparesis.

Title: Casuistry of fysiotherapeutic patient care after Ischemic CMP with leftsided hemiparesis. Goals: The main goal of my Bachelor thesis was to obtain new theoretical knowledge about diagnoses of strokes, while simultaneously processing the causistry of patients who underwent an Ischemic stroke with a leftsided hemiparesis. Work Methodology: This Bachelor thesis deals with the issues of diagnozing strokes. It is split into two main parts; the general section, and the specialized section. In the general section you may find the basic anatomy of the brain, theoretical knowledge from an etiological point of view, clinical symptoms, categories of strokes, and most importantly diagnoses and treatments of this condition. In the specialized section you may then find a processed causistry of the physiotherapeutic care for the patient, with whom I cooperated in a continuous professional practice at the regional hospital in Kladno throughout the period of 02.01.-27.01.2017, in the inpatient rehabilitation department. A part of the causistry is analysis of the anamnesis, initial kinesiology analysis, individual therapies including the evaluation of their effects, and finally the development of a final kinesiology analysis. Results: From the effects of the therapy at the end of the special section, we can...
