Operation of Parallelly Connected Synchronous and Asynchronous Generator to Off-grid Network
Seiml, Jan ; Paar, Martin (referee) ; Bartošík, Tomáš (advisor)
The main focus of this bachelor's thesis is the description of the properties of asynchronous and synchronous generator in off-grid network. There is explanation of control and regulation of off-grid networks, the behavior of generators and and resources in the network and their characteristics and the subsequent creation of a practical demonstration of island networks with synchronous and asynchronous generator.
Design and construction of double laboratory power supply
Klein, Miroslav ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This semester thesis deals with design of double laboratory DC power supply with adjustable voltage and current limitation. Power supply can work in two states. First state allows regulation of output voltage from 0V to 40V and current limitation from 0A to 3A. In second state the range of output voltage is from 0V to 18V and output current can be set from 0A to 6A. Both supplies are galvanically separated and can work independently, or can be combined. Whole power supply is digitally controlled by microcontroller.
Distribution system support by power management of battery systems in charging mode and charging systems for electric vehicles
Rodionov, Vladislav ; Mastný, Petr (referee) ; Drápela, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the power management support of battery systems in charging mode and charging systems for electric vehicles in the LV network. The thesis includes an overview of the distribution network of the Czech Republic, means of voltage regulation and the existing legislative framework for the connection of charging systems. The thesis describes the methods of active and reactive power control depending on the voltage and frequency. The practical part focuses on the simulation of grid support at different penetration levels of BESS and EVC in MATLAB Simulink and the verification of the support function on a laboratory system. In the last part, the methods of implementing the control system for BESS and EVC operating in the LV grid are specified.
An Analysis and recommendation for innovation concernig an oil tap changer
Zoufalý, Marek ; Veselka, František (referee) ; Bušov, Bohuslav (advisor)
In this bachelor thesis is described the theory of regulation voltage transformers, power transformers, types of regulation in general. Then there is described the state of tap changers. There are mentioned some of the leading manufacturers of tap changers. Also analysed is the revision of tap changer MR MI501 and replacement of oil tap changer Škoda OPZ for new SMS Huaming CV, made by REVOS company.
Adjustable Laboratory Power Supply
Skryja, Petr ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Šebesta, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is to enlighten the reader with topic of linear power sources and guide him through designing his own adjustable laboratory power supply. Design of adjustable laboratory power supply uses the stabilizer L200 with voltage regulation and current limitation. Device is expanded with digital part (using ATmega8 MCU) to enable peripherals control and measured values processing. The laboratory power supply will be constructed and its parameters will be measured.
System of controlled generators of rectangular pulses
Holeksa, David ; Mišurec, Jiří (referee) ; Hanák, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design system of controlled generators of rectangular pulses, which are burdened with toroidal coils. The objective is realization of the equipment to be controlled by a microcontroller, which will bring rectangular pulses to each coil according to pre-specified parameters. The resultant generator is capable of generating current pulses having an amplitude of 0.1 to 1 A and a pulse time of 1-10 ms.
Operation of Parallelly Connected Synchronous and Asynchronous Generator to Off-grid Network
Seiml, Jan ; Paar, Martin (referee) ; Bartošík, Tomáš (advisor)
The main focus of this bachelor's thesis is the description of the properties of asynchronous and synchronous generator in an isolated network. There is explanation of control and regulation of isolated networks, the behavior of generators and burdens in the network.
Hosting Capacity of the Distribution Grids for Renewable Electricity Production
Koubek, Michal ; Topolánek, David (referee) ; Toman, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the topic of hosting capacity of the distribution grids for renewable electricity production. The first part of the thesis focuses on describing the back effects to the distribution network and requests for connection. Furthermore, an overview of the most commonly connected renewable energy sources to the distribution system is provided. In the practical part of the thesis, a model of a real high-voltage network was created, in which connection requests were recorded. One of the requests was thoroughly assessed, and the impacts of the connected generation on the network were evaluated.
